Nope, I've always been Fanpuck33, on ESPN, here, and pretty much everywhere else.

  2. And to think, I thought KoZed had gone out and gotten a real life, unlike the rest of us, lol.

Welcome back, man, good to have you back. You, puck, and sakiqc were the trinity of Habs posters back on ESPN, and now the prodigal son has returned!

Ribeiro didn't say anything that outrageous and you guys are telling him to get out of Montreal? You guys want Saku to "beat the crap" out of Ribeiro?

He simply stated his opinion. He believes Ryder should finish more of his passes. Big deal. Get over it.

And both of those guys are players who nobody wants on their team, so what's your point? There's a reason why TO was suspended for the year and why nobody came looking for Latrell's services when his contract ran out.

Ryder should make sure he "accidentally" nails Ribs in practice.

It's fine if you're going to call out a teammate, but it's asinine to do so like that. If you're going to talk shit about a teammate, you do it to his face, not to the media.

P.S. Stop making me look at Don Cherry.

Hahaha, not a problem at all. I'll just include it in the "Other" box for the next sim.

  5. No, it's the right file, Colin just made the same zipping error that ap79 made the first few times he did the sims.

What happened is that when you unzip this file, it creates a new HWL folder within your current save folder, so it does not replace the old files. What you need to do is go find the new folder and move its files into the main save folder to replace the old files with the new ones.

And Colin, I'm guessing you created the archive by selecting the HWL folder and zipping it. Instead, select all the files in the HWL folder and create the archive that way. This will put all the files in the .zip archive without creating a folder.

P.S. When will the HQ be back?

First of all, he is a forward, not a defenceman. Second, he has half the hockey talent of Begin and not nearly as much heart.

If he's playing , he must be injury free. As for waivers, who would claim him? He's tower of a man, but with little hockey skills. Plus, fighting and physical play is on the decline, so a player with his skills is less valuable.

I think it sucks how much the game has sped up, as it has taken a lot of the physical play out of the game. There are so few good, hard body checks these days. Hockey has always been a combination of speed, skill, and physicality.

  7. 1:22 AM: The paper is complete, as well as the one page summary of the paper and the single paragraph summary of the paper.

Other things I did to procrastinate: Frequent water breaks. Breif TV breaks. Jackets game. Pizza. Fooling around.

Now it is time for sweet, sweet slumber.

  8. In my continuous procrastination, I found yet another creepy quote about this subject.

"You'll see, you'll see and it's a much bigger story than you think. It's because the FBI lied. They lied. And when we expose them for what they did," Frost says, adding that Danton cannot expose the U.S. government until he is back on Canadian soil.

Why the hell would the FBI and the US government frame some no-name hockey player? What the hell is wrong with these people?

    "Shoulda kept Ward"

I know this isn't directed at me, but I am one of the people who is sad to see Hainsey go. I'm not saying we shoulda kept him though, I'm just saying our current situation wouldn't be quite as bad as it is if he were still around.

As for Ward, I was sad to see him go. He never lived up to his full potential, but I thought he was a fine 4th line player and a good winger for Begin.

  10. 6:15 PM: I started my 5 page paper on my personal philosophy of education.

6:30 PM: I'm already back on HW after having written four and a half lines.

    To be continued...

Btw, this paper I am writing is the keystone assignment for the class, so it's rather important.

  11. This was obvious during the whol ordeal the last time Danton was in the news. It was clear then that Frost was in control of Danton's mind. Out of nowhere, Danton totally rejected his entire family and refused to talk to them. Guys just don't suddenly turn their backs on their families.

Frost is a scary guy, plain and simple.

My bad, he wasn't on the roster I was looking at, since he's hurt. I only looked over it breifly for ages. Still, he isn't exactly considered young talent. Don't get me wrong, I think he's easily our best D-man and a great player.

My main point is that the Habs are nearly devoid of young talent along the blueline. Nobody in the farm system is very good, and we have only a few long shots in terms of junior age players.

Not at all. Look at the situation the Habs have on D! Wouldn't you rather have Hainsey than Cote? They have 2 more games where they are only going to be able to dress 5 D-men. Hainsey is better than nothing. Without him, he was no D-men in the minors who are good enough to keep this team a contender. There is a reason they called him back up, because he was their best D-man down in Hamilton. Behind him is Cote, who doesn't deserve to be in the NHL.

Where are all these young defenders? Name one decent defender (besides Komisarek) the Habs have in the organization who is under 29 years old. Look at the guys we put out on the ice last night! Streit and Cote? Get real. Those guys have no business being in the NHL.

As much depth the organization has at the forward position, that is how weak it is on defence. The loss of Hainsey hurts, because he at least had potential and was decent enough to pitch in if the NHL squad needed him. Look at Hamilton. There are no defenders down there who I am confortable with having on an NHL roster.
