  1. To Boston:

    Dewey Cox CON 51

    Adam Verbeek CON 77

    To Anaheim:

    Jordan Schroeder CON 78

    Jiri Niemi CON 79

Boston confirms. This team is lacking a superstar forward, and Verbeek is just what it needs. This is not a small price to pay, as Schroeder is a very decent player, but changes needed to be made in Boston!

  2. Here's an idea.

I think it's time that HW started a thread to reverse the spotlight on douchebag members of the Montreal Press. We all know that the Habs are adversely affected by the local press thanks to their unrepentant, selfish, arrogant, unapologetic behaviour. The exaggeration of the Cammalleri quote from this past week was the last straw for me.

In this day and age, where opinion and momentum can be profound on the Web, it's time to start speaking up and trolling the comments section of the Gazette, La Presse or whatever presstitute rag we can find.

I encourage HW members to post examples here.

    Let'er rip.

First up: Francois Gagnon. Responsible for the very liberal translation of Cammy's comments from English to French and back to English.

Gagnon is my favorite french hockey journalist.

  3. Well the wireless signal I've been using while staying at my grandmother's is now gone, so I'll likely be off the grid when not at work (which means no EHM). Can someone tell me how Pittsburgh did?

2-0-1-0, Kvartalnhov is player of the week with 4 goals and 4 assists

  4. Also, a good restaurant "bring your own wine" style in the Old Montreal (again, not that far from Bell Centre and probably the most beautiful part of Montreal) is located corner St-Laurent and St-Paul. It is called Steak & Frites St-Paul.

I'd call in advance and reserve though.

Yeah but there is more than one in the city so you can always try the others if this one is full, although eating in Old Montreal is just not the same! Didn't read that you wanted to stay in the Bell Centre area maybe try Ristorante Da Vinci, I know many Habs players go there, I saw them on a tv special! Also, maybe check out the Cage aux Sports next to the Bell Centre, it's really a good expierience, especially on a night when the habs are playing! For breakfast, I would suggest Ben & Florentine, I ate at the one in Laval near where I live and there's one downtown, really delicious.

  5. You MUST have some Schwartz's smoked meat and a poutine from La Banquise. As for more high class places, if you have money to blow, go to La Queue de Cheval, it is VERY expensive but apparently worth it, never ate there myself but my brother works with them and he told me it is just amazing!
