  1. Quick note because I'm getting offers for my 16th OA pick.

I will decide on draft day if I'm going to trade my pick away or not. This is because the first round is live and right now I will work out POTENTIEL deals. Just to keep things clear, I will decide on draft day if I'm trading or not.

  2. By the way, TSN.ca posted this:

In Montreal, the Canadiens have their hands full with as many as three spots available at forward. Even after dealing forward Marcel Hossa to the Rangers on Friday, the team still has to choose between prospects Chris Higgins, Alexander Perezhogin, Tomas Plekanec and Guillaume Latendresse.

All indications are that Higgins and Perezhogin are penciled in for the opening night roster, leaving Plekanec and Latendresse battling for the final spot. Latendresse will not be in uniform tonight as the Habs battle the Ottawa Senators in the first game of a home-and-home series.

I don't know about you but I'd rather see Plekanec get a spot over Latendresse. Plekanec has been probably the best player during pre-season.

  3. I voted knowing after Hossa was traded (I think) and I still think he should be sent back to juniors.

I still doubt he's mentally ready to take on the Montreal media. Sure, they chanted his name in his first pre-season game but what happens when the fans will boo him? It's bound to happen.

 I keep telling Maca all the time if I was running Nashville at the time I wouldn't have made that trade. On the other hand, Daze is a good addition to the team. But I can't and won't complain about the trade ;)

  5. I'm just not bothering to make a trade for Shanny because if he retires next season, I'm asured to have him only for two seasons (if I use un-retire option) which stinks because he has a three year deal if I remember right.

I think this lifts the Caps above either Buffalo or Carolina. They now have 2 thirds of a first line. Which is what Tampa has and no one's complaining. (I know TB is much better and has Richards, etc...)

 Even Carolina has a somewhat better team than the Caps.
