  1. Sebastien Caron

    All Draft Picks

    Michael Rozsival

    Looking For:

    Offensive Defenseman

    Scoring Talent

    Make me an offer if you have anything though, you never know what could happen.

    Send a u2u asap if you are interested, I need one more high scoring center especially, and a two way defenseman would also be nice. Remember, ALL picks can go.

    I like this idea the best, adds to the realism of the league.

    Hey you're supposed to side with me... more balls to the best teams :king:

    :guru:

    I agree, and the top 3 teams in the league should get 10 balls each..:P

  3. I was just thinking, maybe at the end of the year, or whenever, but on fhockey, they have a tool that reduces every players salary by 24%, so my thought was maybe using that, and switching the cap to around 36 million dollars or so. Just wanted to see if anyone else had the same thought, or if i'm a complete moron. :P

    well they have smtg like 53 and 55 of OA... so I can't play them much higher than 4th line... even then...

    So I guess they would get more exp on AHL 1st line...

    any personal advice on that? from an expert to a newb??

    my instinct would tell me to send them to minors, but as you said, I can't call them back... will that affect their development?

    Playing them in the juniors will mean less likely for injury, and a little development throughout the year. If you play them on the pro team, they will develop much faster. Also, if you are a rebuilding team, i'd play all top-notch prospects asap, and make sure to play them on the pp if they are a scoring type player, and pk if they are defensive minded. If you aren't a rebuilding team, and going for the cup, it may be a good idea to have one top-notch prospect playing just to hurry his developement, and put him on physic training to boost his strength so he doesn't get injured so easily.

  6. I've been playing the game for a fairly long time( 3 years, 2 years in online leagues), and I was just wondering who actually won Kariya and Bure. My offers actually had more value to them, because the formula used shows the results.

    Base times Length plus Bonus= Total

    +1.0 for Player Option

    - 1.0 for Team Option

    + 3.0 for NTC

    And actually, this IS the most fair method, and is why it is used for nearly all EHM leagues, as the players are interested usually in staying in one place so they dont have to move every month, and that goes for the NTC and Length.

    Worked out, the offers are as follows-

    KARIYA=

    Pens- 7.0 times 5.0 + 4.7 = 39.7 + 3.0= 42.7

    Caps- 7.0 times 4.0 + 4.7 = 32.7 + 3.0+1.0= 36.7

    BURE=

    Pens= 5.0 times 4.0+ 4.7= 24.7+1.0+3.0= 28.7

    Caps= 5.0 times 3.0 + 4.7+19.7 + 1.0 + 3.0= 23.7

    As you can see, That would mean I still win the last offers, and if it were all for the money, I would have given these guys booming cash offers. I feel at least for the main guys that this method should be used, just since it is most fair, and maybe the Caps and I could work something out with this. If you need any help using this metod, I could help doing it for alot of the UFA's if need be, but i'm just looking for the most fair way to do UFA's, and this is the method most often used.

    I'm not trying to be a pain to everyone, I just want to make sure that the best suited methods are being used, and that there aren't people who are above people in the rankings when it comes to UFA's and such. Thanks

    I believe that would be to do the 04 draft though if i'm correct? I was in a league that did that, it was pretty neat I must add though.

  8. The players will only develop to their ceilings if they are a potential 100. Potential 9 players are good all around, and potential 8 guys are usually very good. Potential 7 players can be good with good ceilings.

    For the other question, the little thing that holds a young player back can be his strength. If the player is weak, they tend not to do so good until they're stronger which can be developed by physic training

  9. Must go!

    76/76/75

    He's a great goalie with alot of talent, and has great endurance. Would be keeping him, but with holes that need filled, and the emergance of Chiodo, there is just simply no need for him.
