Welcome to the league man. Take care of those Bruins for me. I was wondering when someone was going to take them over, I thought I might have to come back just to take care of em.

I'm with you Stream.....oh wait I don't matter anymore.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, you're making it hard for me to leave. I tried to have fun and relax about this game....which is probably why I never won anything.
At any rate, once things quiet down at home again and I'm bored on a cold January night you may see me back again.

Its with heavy heart that I write this.
I've been feeling for a long time now that I need to step back from HWL. As we all at some point have realized, life can get in the way of having fun. Alarm bells went off in my head when I never did get a chance to really look at this years draft and I didn't get to be at the draft. The final straw came when I saw that I needed to post my upcoming options list. I saw the post and meant to get on here for a week. It never happened.
So I'm deciding to resign from the post of the GM for the Bruins. I've been in this league since basically Day 1 and really really hate to leave. But it's not fair to the Bruins or the league if I stay on in my half capacity.
Thanks to everyone over the 5 odd years I've been involved in HWL, I've learned to like the Habs and have met some great friends. And you never know, old GM's always find their way back into the league.

Hey, no excuses on my end. I was a loser. I didn't even crack open the file this year.

Sorry I didn't see this until right now....I'll join if I can.....I'd really like the Oilers if available.
-
Is that the one with you and me (And Sandra Dee)?
Yeah.
-
I had a couple trades brewing for a couple weeks, but I was hard ass and nothing came of it.
Though the one trade I'd still like to revisit.
-
He asked and I said sure.
I actually like the fact he has more offense on my anemic farm.
EDIT
Confirm the edit. Same reason.

Untill yesterday I hadn't sent an HQ since the beginning of the season.
-
I've always liked Borque, he can put up decent numbers. But he bleeds goals and I have him replicated in Jamie Hulse, except Jamie Hulse is a little better defensivly. Khomutov gives me a cheap, young 4th liner who I can move in and out of the 4th line and maybe pinch hit on the 3rd.

Mmmmmm Amber!
I couldn't stand Ballard's lack of endurance and lack of defence. I was just sick of him. Vaananan gives met the grit I lost with Welch left. Thanks Colin.

Thanks. I went to send in an HQ last night and my internet was down for some reason. So I didn't get a chance to. He's coming back up.
-
Just a quick note. I think I should be picking ahead of Florida as he made the playoffs and I didn't.

Holy freaking shit, Boston outshot me 73-1 and won 4-0. Elsa made 69 saves.
What the hell is wrong with your team, Rob? 4-0, thats it?
(veteran max in pre-season plzkthx)
Sorry about that man. I didn't get lines sent in.

Nice job!! Though I would hardly call Sauer important to my blueline. He was an 8th at best, but more likely a 9th defenceman.
