Edmonton Oilers
Cadian : lol, he waited until David B was drunk... then you know the rest. Did the same with Boston Rob... although B-Rob wasn't drunk
Hey hey....be nice. That was EARLY in our EHM lives, and if I remember correctly I talked at length with you about it and you thought it was a good deal.
I remember the first few months that you and I could only make trades with each other.

Selanne is retiring, I could use another old guy on the team. Lindros fit the bill.
-
To Boston:
Brad Is"bust"er - 1.7mil 1yr TO 71-76-74
Barry "Seriously my parents named me Barry?" Tallackson - RFA 73-73-71
Mar Denis - 1yr 3.5mil TO 88-88-84
To New Jersey -
Mike "I've been traded again" Cammalleri - 1.2mil 1yr TO PO 81-66-75
Al "Inigo" Montoya "Prepare to die" - 86-84-80 2mil 3yrs TO
Boston''s 3rd in 2010
I wanted to get some better defensive forwards for the bottom lines. Isbister and Tallackson fullfil that need. And an upgrade of Montoya to Denis is always cool.

But he's an Oiler and as such has a hatred for the Leafs that runs deep.
Right Greg?

All Yes
Wolski
Cammalleri
Munro
Maclean
Picrad

Well, I've been toying with the idea, but I just can't leave you all, I'd miss you too much.
-
Yeah I'm still here.
-
I couldn't care less one way or another, but I also have nothing to do with it so I have no say.
-
agh if anything this league has too many rules.. im suffocating in rules dammit..
I can't believe I'm agreeing with a Flames fan.
-
My quietest deadline in a LONG time.
OUT:
Jeff Friesen
IN:
Mike Cammalleri.
Cammalleri will be more willing to play a bottom line role then Friesen was. I wasn't out to do alot as my team is horrid this year. I'll look to change things around in the offseason.
-
Ya know it's becuase he only works on Sunday that he has so much time. The pastors life is an easy life
I kid I kid.
-
Friesen didn't have a place on this team, he was always the odd man out. He didn't like playing 4th line minutes. Cammalleri may be more open to that idea, plus I save on salary and age.
-
Rules means complicated. Complicated means fun.
Wait, maybe that's what I was thinking when I enrolled in Engineering....
I'm a banker, I hate rules.
-
See I don't see that happening. If someone came to me offering me that type of deal for Frolik or any other guy I have I'd tell him to take off. Why would I help him out for my guy to be bumped up a little in development. Sorry you won't see me doing that, what if the guy gets a 6 month injury in the playoffs, then what? It's not worth the risk.
I've been in alot of leagues, and none of them had NEARLY as many rules as this one does, not even close. I have NEVER seen this situation happen. Whether guys never thought of it or they just didn't do it I don't know but it's basically a non-issue in my mind.
-
We argue about the stupidest little minor things in this league.
-
WooHoo! Congrats Dave!
-
Don't ###### with pies.
I hear they are warm....
And for the record, Pecan and Pumkin pies rock!!!
-
Shhhhhh.....not so loud, everyone will hear ya.

#24 Boston Bruins (Up 5 from last power rankings)
Looks like Chara's -10 and 30 points was worth trading so much for. The Bruins have a solid GM and should bounce back soon to get back into a playoff race.
Wait! What? I'm a solid GM? Wow, thanks...
-
I happen to know that the Insider was dead on for at least one of those rumors as the said player was offered to me in a trade.
-
To Boston:
Wojtec Wolski LW 22yrs old 1yr 185K 79-78-76 81CON
Robert Nillsson C 23yrs old 2yrs @600K 82-64-74 81CON
Francois Parent LW 20yrs old 2yrs @400K 73-68-70 96CON
Tomas Kudelka D 21yrs old 3yrs @525K 74-75-72 74CON
To Calgary:
Alex Kovalev LW 35yrs old 2yrs @ 4mil 89-75-82 82CON
Roman Hamrlik D 34yrs old 3yrs @ 2.5mil 77-85-78 83CON
Mike York C 30yrs old 2yrs @2.5mil 78-71-76 81CON
I make this deal because of my free fall so far this year. There is a virtually no chance that I will be headed to the post season this year. So I'm offloading some very good vets for some good youth.
-
Dallas told me that he had this deal in the works for a long time. He is going to pumped when he gets back and sees that Tony agreed. Way to go Tony.
-
Not a bad idea. One that we definetly need to talk about more.

Pretty much. Though it has been awhile since we've made a trade.
