Well I found it on Spector ... and he's pretty good normally.
But I can't find it anywhere else.
-
My thanks to Brad Johns and for the following on the Canadiens: "On TSN this morning, Bob McKenzie claimed « Tom Poti and the Montreal Canadien could have signed a deal. Sources told that should be a contract of 4 years for 15 millions » ."

Tom Poti ?

I'd love to have Shanahan here - but I dont believe that Gainey's offering him much.
I'm tired of hearing all these rumors that turn out to be baseless. People claiming that Arnott's a lock, then RDS claiming Elias is "very close"....it's all just mere speculation and for the most part made up.
Well no one is ever a lock ... but Arnott probably got an offer from Bob but not for 5 years !
Elias got an offer but in the end took less to go back to the Devils.
Shanahan probably has an offer, but in the end he has to accept it.
-
Why do you doubt it ? He's a nice fit in MTL, proven leader that can still put the puck in the net and is a power winger ... perfect for MTL.
-
Eklund is saying this morning that MTL is making a big push at Shanahan. Good news if true ... but he seems to think BOS is in the driver seat right now.
-
What is RIS? I've never heard of it until this summer.
RIS is associated to RDS, it gives constant updates all day ... it's kinda like CTVNewsnet for CTV or RDI for Radio-Canada, etc.
-
I know, I know ... Eklund is crap, but I like seeing that BG is still working a little.
Bill Guerin- Montreal (e2) and Nashville (e3)..longshots: florida and phillyMike Peca- The Islanders will get him in the end I believe (e3), but Montreal, Detroit and Dallas are all trying
Yanic Perreault- The Flyers (e2), the Lightning (e3) and the Habs (e1)
Guerin would have to be very very cheap for me to endorse ...
I like Peca, but can he be a 2nd C ?
Perreault back in MTL ? I don't think so ...
Shanahan is still the best option IMO ... no mention of him in Eklund last post.
Shanahan- The Blues (e2) the Leafs (e1) and the Flyers (e1) -
It's stupid ... in the NBA it's way better and gives more opportunities to GMs. The team that has the rights to the players can still offer more or match any offers and can go over the cap to resign it's players ... but at least if you can attract a RFA to your club you don't give away your whole future.
-
That's really a stupid rule IMO ... but the Salary Cap structure of the NHL isn't detailed enough to make a system like the NBA on RFA ...
So forget about targeting a RFA this summer (or ever for that matter).
-
In the new CBA, do we have to really give 1st round picks for RFA ? Isn't it like the NBA in which you don't have to compensate, but the team that owns the right can match the offers ?
-
Here but still not a 100 %

Man Theo's trade was suppose to give us Cap Space to make a splash this summer ...
But 4.5 millions / year for 5 years is really too much ...
Man the Owners / GMs haven't learned a thing from the Lock Out.
-
Canucks have signed Willie Mitchell. 4 years at 14 milllions.

Man ... I thought the Leafs were almost at the limit ... thanks for the 44 millions cap.
-
Is Bob sleeping ? I'm looking for Willie Mitchell !

Samedi 01 juillet 2006 - (RDS.ca) – L’attaquant Jamie Langenbrunner a décidé de demeurer avec les Devils du New Jersey.

Well ... sad.
-
Samedi 01 juillet 2006 - Bonne nouvelle pour les partisans du Canadien puisque le défenseur Francis Bouillon a signé un contrat de trois ans avec l'équipe. Plus de détails à venir.

Bouillon has signed a 3 years contract !

Well the Canucks are off to an awfull start ! At least I have my 1st round pick this year.
I'm officially back in business and need to shake things up ...
I'm looking to get younger players so anyone 30 and over can be had for the right price. I need players since I'm already thin.
Markus Naslund, Pierre Turgeon, Mattias Ohlund, Sami Salo, Alyn McCauley, Aki Berg, Jarkko Ruutu, Georges Laraque and Jere Karalahti are all on the market.
Send me PM and help me little on what is available on your respective teams because I've been out a while and I just don't know anymore.
With that being said, I wont give anyone away ... especially Naslund and Ohlund so be prepare to offer good value in return.
-
-
Well ... little late, but I'm 26 and a half !
No kids ... just moved in with my girlfriend ... that's why I don't have internet right now.
-
Well seems like my season will be long ... Markus Naslund is still on the block, si is Matthias Ohlund and Pierre Turgeon. Looking for young players and draft picks.
I won't have Internet until the 22nd ... but you can send me a PM, I come by from time to time.
-
LOL ... Big Georges ... I haven't downloaded the file, but from the look of the Power Rankings, I don't seem to be doing too well ...
At least I have my 1st pick this year.
-
Well I will be out of internet at least until June 22nd ...
I don't know if someone can act as Interim GM for me ...
-
Wow my topic has developped ! Didn't know Lecavalier could bring so much love and hate at the same time.
