Notes from the simmer:
- As Buffalo is empty, I resigned all staff to 1 year deals
- Dallas, if you tested your offer, you would know that your board of governors is pissed at you for being over budget and won't allow the offer.
- San Jose, promoting Pierre McGuire to the NHL would violate the 1 Head Coach rule and was thus left in the minors.

Clearing out some of the vets on my farm to make room for the youngsters. A 2nd is okay value considering Moog's age, while Gromilin was a player I really wanted at the draft last year. Mattson is there in case I start trying to stockpile late picks again later, I'll need something to move for those picks.
2nd pick wasnt so good IMO Moog would just take over Langenbrunners spot for quit a few years

How about Calgary we send the offer, buffalo we take 2-3 players to protect and let the rest loos along with Detroit and Colorado, get some ufa in this season make it fun
