Wear FULL FACE face masks and things like this would never happend.
Your right there but it also is harder to play with them and adds a diffrent style to some people, that they dont like why i rly dont know :S.
But if koivu were to come back iam sure he would come with that because iam sure he will be playing with stiches or something that he doesnt wanna take a risk on untill its 100%.
-
k guys calm down just a bit. but wtv i really hope koivu comes back with his determination to carry them further.
-
Your a moron buddy. The high stick was not intential. Therefore even if the ref had saw it, regardless of the injury to Koivu, it would have been a 4 mintue penatly, because it drew blood.
The exact same way that Komisarek got a 4 minute penalty. If your to dumb to understand that, or drunk as you so proudly exclaim, then you should get off the forum.
K guys lets not have a fight break lose on the thread lol.
-
Well I don't think the NHL really can do anything about this. Maybe they can punish the refs but not assinging them anymore games, but you can't really do anything to the Carolina player (Williams I think?).
It wasn't intential on his part.
Oh i ment about the refs, sorry im compleltly out of it so tired.
-
Ok, let me preface this by saying I am really drunk....
But how the ###### did the lowlife ######ing refs miss this mother f-ing call??? I hope they both get cancer of the ass and die slow painful deaths.
Iam with you on that one.

I don't know. Did you see that closeup of him. Thats a bad injury. Its atleast the playoffs. It looks like part of the blade hit his eyeball so theres possible scratching there. And I'd say with the force of the blow its probably a cracked or broken orbital bone.
They won't be able to do eye (vision) tests till atleast tommorrow when the swelling goes down. No way he'll see action Friday. Swelling might not even subside till them. Bad news man.
Yea thats what they said that it hit his eye so guarenteed there must be something wrong with his eye..i really hope something can be said by tomarrow night , to give some of us some glimmer of hope.
I think i should write an essay for extra marks on how the nhl doesnt do much about stupid things like this. That should be treated with extreme caution.

Can anyone remember specifics on the Sundin eye injury? Hopefully Koivu's will be no worse than his, although I'm sure everyone would love for it to be even less significant.
I think it is something that will be similar. I just hope it isnt like a berard insadint...please god make him be ok!
-
Yeah he's being kept over night for observation. More information in the morning.
Thats not good. I imagine they have to wait for the swelling to go down a bit before doing further tests.
I'd say he's out atleast for the playoffs. I hate to speculate any further
i really hope it is not the playoffs it will be one of the biggest momentum busts for the habs, and how he played recently even if it wasnt to his full potential he was the one carrying the team on his back. Mtl needs him and everyone knows that.
People can say what they want but they cant hide the truth.
-
he is goin to stay overnight from what gainey said, so most likly to not play in game 4 wich is rly bad i find.
and it hit the eye of koivu.
This is terrible news for all habs players and fans
-
With the koivu comment i see it happening also , i am a big hard core koivu fan lol but , i dont know i think he needs more playable linemates for one thing. and i noticed a lil bit of tiredness in his game not sure if anyone els noticed?
-
thanks alot for the pics man appreciate it
-
When you scream your lounges out and your mother comes telling you off ( well for me because iam 16 so i still live with my parents ) the joy of the habs except when my mom about to kill me lol
-
does anyone have a scan or a picture of the pic in the gazette from about 2 days ago with kovalev zednik and huet playing soccer???
-
will there be one for game 2 :D:D:D
-
ummm im very conserned because he has been playing good from what i find and i think montreal can use him down the strech
-
yea, some of ur evaluations are pretty weird but some are ok but yea umm cote B not no rating he played very well when he was called up.
Learn How To Watch Hockey just kidding lol
-
You guys forget also, how many players does he talk to on and off the ice...i dont think so many because of his english, and iam a little upset that kovalev doesnt talk to him to give him tips and stuff.
Mtl needs to bring in another young russian for next season so perezhogin can talk to more and feel more comfortable with the team. Also its only his second year in north america, how he plays is what you would have to expect...and i know ovechkin is like a god and came straight from europe lol, but big diffrence in talent there.

the title of the song playign is called "Here comes the boom" from nelly and dmx, and a few other rappers.

Well as koivu being my favorite player i agree that the ugly french media is like that, if your not french you dont belong to the team.its discusting i hate all the people from the rds crew, maybe not demers as much because he was the last coach to win us a cup.
But i dont understand french so when i watch the games on rds the only thing i like is how they yell and the noise of the crowd, and i dont listen or even try to pay attention to the frenchmen because they never have anything good to day. But ryder i have to say is too much one dimentional and i really wouldnt mind if he was traded for something reasonable, for all the good prospects coming up like, latendress, kostystin, maybe chipchura dont really need him; he has no dekeing skills doesnt use his frame as much as he can but he has a lil more recently and is too much of a hog.
Now the Ribiero hmmm do i like him....answer is no i really dont like him mainly because all these french habs lovers that know hardly nothing about the game say hes an all star even tho mid way through out the season he was terrible and wasnt even worth a bag of pucks, many also dont realize that kovalev is who he is playing with how many people that play with kovalev will have a bad game...not many with all the skills that guy has..its incredible.
Also if ribeiro would have been traded at the dead line i wouldnt have cared much, for i think plek can take the role of second line center ( good offensive skills and good defensivly) unlike ribiero, but if ribs keeps up what he is doing now with out kovalev on his line then maybe he wont be so usless, but then again i would have to here the french praise his name " OHHHH RIBIEROOOOOO" wheather he screws up or does something good.
All i have to say at the moment after my ranting is GO HABS :hlogo: , AND GAINEY GET SELANNE IN OFF SEASON :king:

Tsn says he will be going to get a MRI tomarrow well more like today as the time im posting this llol, but yes i hope he is ok. Hes a big asset to this team.
-
mtl had vokoun i just found out now lol but wow and we lost him who ever the gm was at the time pure moron...( oh and i just staretd loveing hockey 3 yrs ago )
-
4 more wins and we clinched a spot in the playoffs because the most atlanta can get is 16pts wich add up to 94 pts and when mtl wins 4 games they will have 95pts
-
ah. i cant wait untill theo starts playing well and wins a cup or more honors with the avalanch, so then all u theo haters and " theodore for aebischer " trade lovers can go cry in a corner for finally getting what you wanted and now montreal will pay for it, by getting abby...oh and umm 3 games 5 goals per game....i GREAT TRADE... :puke:
-
At least well see how todd simpson will do..and it does mean more playing time for streit.
get his momentum up.
