Yanic is way past what he used to be all he has to offer is face off skills...yea its good, but for mtl not good enough. well not anymore. for who mtl got when gainey took over, he has been improving the team greatly wih young new faces with tons of talent:clap:

Ok looks like all my posts were deleted because someone couldnt read them well...
anyway koivu selfish u have to be the most blind fan watching a habs game when hes on the ice...and i mean blind he has one of the biggest hearts for the game in the nhl...In the playoffs after the series with boston, koivu had briused lungs fractured ribs and sprained rist or something like that.
And he was still leadin the playoffs with points and was still at every game and umm he did play all 82 games 2 seasons ago and for someone to have to do that right after battlin cancer iam sorry but he is the least selfish player in the league and if not at least the leage...

well there is a rumor that selanne has decided on the final 2 teams he is willing to sign with and they are montreal and st.louis and iam sure he talking to bob gainey so well just have to wait and see what happens in time and he isnt finished selanne has some years left with him just that last season he played like shit because i found he didnt belong in colorado it wasnt for him

yea but u have to think also dags did score 17 goals and on second line if u think of it its kinda waste because hes on a line with fast players and he slow while when u have perezhogan that from what i here and other ppl here is a fenomial talent would do so much better i find dagenais wouldnt be fit for second line anymore and i agree with u on hainsey he need to become serious

ok well u guys are insane, saying the loss of perrault and quintal is a bad thing....u guys sertanly havnt been payin attention to what happend in the nhl...ok lets look at this perrault got 31 points right 16 goals like 8 of those goals were when he was on the first line! and he ios a lazy man all he did was win faceoffs yea thats a good thing but mtl has no room for lazy players like hossa and hainsy u stay lazy then ship em out so he usless in mtl. then u got quintal an old lazy fart who took sterioids and 37 yrs old iam happy with what mtl has on defense quintal can retire thats all i say unless he signs wit boston lol

The players that will surprise me will be...pherizhogan on the second line why i say he on it already well...dagenais is a big guy so in bonk so looks like to pair them up on the checkin line no?
pherezhogan on second line will blossem like a beautiful flower, another who will maybe surprise me will be marcel hossa if that lazy kid wakes up then he can be a pretty big threat to some teams and same goes for mr. ron hainsey.
Then u have danis:D that great talent in that young goaltender well looks like he has huets spot till he gets back and for sure mtl will see what that lil boy has in him and to me looks like a great potential player
Then u have kostistyn even tho he doesnt have that great of experiance like everyother player i think mtl will give him a shot and see what he has to show for at his level right now.
Now the best thing that happend to mtl in looooong time when it comes to solid lines:) Zednik-Koivu-Kovalev
the amount of points that koivu will make will shock all of us even for the ones who dont like him will learn him great abilities with passes moves scoring assists team leadership all of it. then u have the new guy Kovalev (well not so new but you know hat i mean)well that bad boy will finaly wake up again showing off how many goals he can put up in the boared i say he can put about minimum 37goals behind the net and he also has hands for passing. now here comes the great zednik that can be a 35+ goal scorer while only getting paid 1.8 million he isa god
and with that line up of koivu and kovalev i can only say watch out. thanks for reading my opinions :ghg::ghg::ghg:

yea me to i am all the way with koivu i belive he wont dissapoint us he will stay in mtl , and some ppl dont give him enough credit...
i dont want to act like i hate some ppl but i remember in the bell center last season some drunka$$ frenchman was there insulting koivu for that he wasnt french....i blew it on that gave him shit and he never talked after that but its the point that ppl didnt give him so much credit wich piss's me off

ok well as all u guys know koivu signed his qualifiying offer at 3.4 million for only one year:?- and i read that he will test the free agent market next year and also would like to stay in mtl because he feels he belongs here.
now will montreal sign koivu iam thinking they will for the reason he is there capitain one of the top scorers on the team and a player with a HUGE! heart for the team and the game.
i say if he does well this season with kovalev and zednik on the same line like a new career high or with new style , something that makes koivu better i would offer 5 year deal 16 million first 4 years he gets 4 million and then an option for his last year...

ok....koivu traded, i dont think so he said he wants to end his career in mtl and hopfuly he shall.
hes a great player for his size and with zednik and kovalev along side him it will be great, in the play offs he always progresses better and better every year
hes a true capitain and iam sure koivu took his qualifiyin offer thats why its one year , iam sure next season he will sign for dependin on how he plays even tho he a good player.

well u ppl do know this trade is rly not happening...right?
Theo is good yes maybe more money also true, luongo his stats are almost the same as theo but look at who luongo had to play with last season, as how good he did.
but now look at the prices also theo 5 million maybe a lol more yea good but then luongo less but then in mtl luongo will ask for more in time because he will progress better, and mtl will be in a pickle.
theo is reliable and when he is on his top game he is unstopable he can do good in mtl if anything i would say sign theo to 4yr deal 20 million and ur all good then see what happens there.
speed and reflex is always good and have u heard...the bigger they are the harder they fall....(luongo) all mtl needs to go for is another defensemen and lw for the second line

i wonder if gainey reads these posts maybe he might see it and like try u never know but anyway if that doesnt work mtl can always get selanee but the prob is they wont touch the first line unless there are problems with it and selanee will be playing along side with reiero and ryder.
and if anything mtl can also trade rebiero and price juss for gange so then put bonk on second line and still get selanee maybe julien can pull some sik stuff with that and the season after maybe lecavalier will come so we got are second line center :hlogo:

theo, his career will end in mtl i dont see him moving anywere. but also price in 2-3 year he will be ready at least for back up well thats why mtl took him right now no ? so why cant phi take him and with forsberg and them high on the cap what much can phi do?

well i didnt real all what u guys posted cuz its long but.....phi does need a goalie and everyone knows that cuz they cant rely on eshe so my idea would be....trade carey price and second draft pick to phi for gange it would be great for mtl and phi and mtl if they need a goalie there good with theo for at least 8-10 years so they have alot of years to chose to draft a goalie so if mtl would get gange this would be the sexy lines:)

ok , well now kovalev is a habs, 4.5 million per year not bad but problem there are rumors that forsberg called mtl for intrest to play in mtl, and since mtl offerd a contract to miroslav satan to be said 4.25million, then mtl still has to sign koivu, rebiero,ryder,theo markov..now with what i think will happen if this will happen that satan comes to mtl wich i think will be a better thing for him for the reason of zednik and bulis in mtl rather then juss demetria in LA and no slovakians in toronto...(we all hate them they think there gonna get everybody lol). yea if satan comes to mtl then mtl's payroll wit go from 15.5 to 19.75 million then u have to add koivu - 3 million , rebiero -1.1 million, ryder -1 million, and theo for sure will be 4.5 million and markov at about 2 million so in all that adds an extra 11.6 million to add to the payroll wich will be 31.35 million wich is great then there are rumors about lecavalier coming to mtl it wont be this year i dont think but if not u have next year wich will be about 4 million then mtl will have to get ride of some players...and make more room for cap incase problems come out like injuries and trades and ect, oh and from my info dandenault is a 99% sure comein to mtl so wich makes the payroll i made wich will be 33.35 million plus lecavalier will be 37.35 million wich i think is rediculus and i think mtl should buy out players or trade but then, i hope koivu doesnt leave because he is part of the team and is the heart of it:clap:so thats what i hear everywere so yea lets all hope for the best oh and ummmlol eklund dont belive him all the time....most of the things he says dont come true and thats way more then half

I don't know but to me i think we need a lot more depth in our defense, because if u were to look who do we have in hamilton....NO ONE!!!
We are going to be royaly screwd if we dont get a good playing D.man while markov cant do everything by him self u have to think of it also souray isnt waking up even though he is injured he hasnt done much.
To me who i think gainey should go after is niinimaa, 2 million dollars but if u trade sourat for him i think it makes sense but u also lose a potential player in mtls offensive defensmen.
But if anything what we realy need is some more offensive D espesialy with hainsey gone and get some depth into there we have nothing left in hamilton to feed on.
Even kovalev has to come back so we can get 2 Solid lines instead of having Dags back and fourth no offense to him but he is not so great talented of a player; and as i read somewere before why did gainey keep dags over hossa because if he were to keep hossa he would be brought down and have to go to waivers and at his salery going to be under 500,000 someone will forsure take him so they rather take someone for him instead of lose him for sure.
anyway wat u think about what iam saying ?
