  1. I was just going to say that the next goal is the most important and Abby lets in a softie
  2. Come on Aebischer......he's gotta stop that shit.....NObody in front of him at all no deflection COME ON......
  3. Penalties coming big time. It looked to me like Begin went to hit Stajan and he tried to jump out of the way causing it to look bad but it was interference.
  4. I saw that coming a mile away, Lapierre has to either get off or get back. Big hole because of a stupid play
  5. Game time, the boys are going to make us proud. GO SAKU GO GO HIGGY GO GO HABS GO
  6. While i'm extremely unsure and torn as to what i think should and will happen. I would not be surprised to see him dealt to the Sharks for one of their top tier D prospects or young players.
  7. According to habs-insideout, he is a game time decision. He skated this morning and felt good and might go tonight and that Kosty being sent down was to open a roster spot for both of them. Downey CAN still play tonight, being on waivers doesn't prevent him from doing so if needed (which we are all hoping isn't the case) I predict Begin will play, as will Kosty and Sammy will sit with the flu. Koivu will fight through it and play a Michael Jordan style game where he is dominant.
  8. Something fishy is going on today. Sammy and Koivu with the Flu, Kostytsin sent down, false reports about Kovalev being on waivers, Kostytsin supposedly staying up, Begin playing with a broken foot. I'm confused and slightly scared, I think I need a hug. Go Habs Go Are the rumors true? Kirk is going to don Saku's number 11 tonight while he is out with the flu. This could be a real turning point.
  9. Perhaps he was sent down to open the roster spot for Begin then re-called as an emergency call-up for one of Saku or Sammy, wouldn't it have to be by the books like that?
  10. Like most have said, Rivet was a heart and soul habs. It's sad to see him go, but his skill were declining and at a UFA salary that he will command he was not going to be back. Add in the return in the deal and it's a no brainer. Gorges is 22 with 90 games of NHL experience averaging about 17 minutes a night for SJ at a league minimum deal. He seems to be rather weak but solid positionally. I see our D like this next year right now. 1. Markov (if we can re-sign him) 2. Sourray or UFA (we might re-sign him or take a run at another UFA there are many) 3. Komisarek (RFA - maybe 1.5) 4. Streit (has improved by leaps and bounds and at only 600k) 5. Dandenault (good skater usually solid - 1.7) 6. Bouillon (sometimes good sometimes bad, will either be dealt or given another shot at 1.8) 7. Gorges (able to fill in if needed and cheap at 450K) This is reasonable. We now only have 2 UFA Dmen that need to be re-signed or replaced. Streit has been a pleasant surprise. Bouillon may be the next to be moved. At his salary he is greatly overpaid, but BG may give him another shot with a full training camp etc...
  11. By the end of the night the Habs can be back in 10th. Great job Sourray, you IDIOT. No urgency whatsoever. The last goal was a disaster, where 2 isles had all day and night to wait out Halak. I'm sick to see that kind of (lack) effort in such an important game.
  12. No sense of urgency with 6 minutes left the team is sleepwalking still.
  13. We're back to this ridiculous strategy of the D just throwing it off the boards instead of passing it. Streit makes a nice rush and everyone stands and watches him.....sickening to see the lack of heart.
  14. FRIG the shifts are so long.....give it 100% and get the F off the ice. No Effort at all....Someone set the alarm clock to wake this team up between periods.
  15. We need to get some chances....Dipietro has played well and the Habs aren't getting anything but the odd perimiter shot on net.
  16. What the hell was that. The guy had all year to wait out Halak, Come on and this is a team trying to make the playoffs. FRIG
