For the last 6 months I have tried to install EHM on my computer at work. Every time I would follow the installation process I would get the runtime error '6': Overflow message.
After reading Trizz's comments I tried today once again to install. After downloading the config_teams.ehm onto my computer I opened it in notepad and sure enough saw that the Columbus arena capacity was set at 6 digits. After removing the last number the game worked perfectly.
:clap: :clap: To Trizz for solving this problem!I wasnt kidding when I said runtime 6 error is the same as a "general" error. It CAN be anything but its usually associated with the players file because thats the one getting editted all the time. For it to happen in the config_teams.ehm file someone had to have accidently wrote that in there because it wont edit itself and just randomly appear in the file. So although this is a runtime 6 error.. its not THE runtime 6 error were worried about because its the players file runtime error thats the doomsday.
If for some reason the game is doing it.. then I have no idea.

its not too much editing.. runtime 6 errors is 100% a players file issue. Not a config file issue.. its not the same file

I have to admit last season I felt like quitting numerous times. Like B-Rob, I feel rejuvinated and excited to be in this league again. Glad I didn't leave. Maybe stick it out a bit longer?
im definetly going to try. Its hard to do lines when your not really interested tho.

Eric I feel the exact same way (Gaborik).. ive only sent lines twice this season and I just dont care. Im ready for the league to find a replacement for me already too. Id like to stick around another few sims to see if I change my mind but to be honest im sick of this shitty spreadsheet hockey sim. Ill make my own thread announcing my resignation soon enough. I only ask that the New GM of the Sharks is a EHM super Veteran with oodles of line creation experiance. I have no doubt in my mind that once I resign I wont be seen on these boards again because I truly hate the habs.

I also find it hard to believe that Martincov (75-79-78) is your best defenceman. And if you consider him your best Dman I'd suggest maybe not playing him on your 3rd pairing...
Maybe if Gaborik is on the 3rd line.
All of those players would need waivers. As long as I've been simming, it's always been standard practice to demote the lowest OA player who doesn't need waivers.Do I look like Maca? I dont care much for fringe players.

I would but I gotta plan my campaign for Satuday. I feel for you and your house, my car was in the shop and when we talked the day of the sim. You knew I didnt have time to do more than send in lines because I needed to go get it from the shop. I made no choice, and you made the wrong choice. I agree when simming you gotta make quick decisions.. but the choice between sending down the worst of 3 goalies when I just claimed a goalie and sending down my best Defensemen are not even close together. You could have sent down Khomutov, Yelle, Witt, Bruckler but you chose my #1 Defensemen. Yes you saved yourself a minute or 2 on the sim but thats not the right choice, not now not ever.
