Do all habs fans cry like this? Shit happens.. koivu was in the wrong place at the wrong time.. its not like williams purposfully highsticked him, however its compeltely wrong and total bs that you want to see anyone hurt.. even if its a rival. Human beings should always come before sports.. and im pretty disgusted by the comments about this. Shame on you all.

"§12 ... RFA's
a. If you want to sign a RFA from another team, you have to post it in the HWL UFA & RFA sub forum and follow the same description rules as for the UFAs.
b. If you want to sign a RFA from another team, you will have to pay a compensation as listed below (hence, me calling you crazy):
-400.000 $ or below - nothing
-over 400.000 $ to and including 550.000 $ - 3rd round pick
-over 550.000 $ to and including 650.000 $ - 2nd round pick
-over 650,000 $ to and including 800.000 $ - 1st round pick
-over 800,000 $ to and including 1.000.000 $ - 1st and 3rd round pick
-over 1.000.000 $ to and including 1.200.000 $ - 1st and 2nd round pick
-over 1.200.000 $ to and including 1.400.000 $ - 2 1st round picks
-over 1.400.000 $ to and including 1.700.000 $ - 2 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder
-over 1.700.000 $ - 3 1st round picks
-For each additional million one additional 1st, up to a max. of 5 1st round picks.
e. Teams who do have the rights of the RFA, have a chance to match any offer giving.
f. Teams can't give offer sheets to unsigned RFA's until the day before the start of the regular season.
g. The bidding for any RFA will be active until no bids have been made for 48 hours."
so 2.7 Mil is 4 1sts and 3.7+ is 5 1sts. Has anyone ever made a RFA offer in the league history? I remember one but I cant remember if the guy pulled out... as everyone should

also, what are the restrictions with RFA's?
for the most parts its off limits. Its never worth the picks you gotta give up.

***Notice to GMs: Preseason games will start, but the schedule is unknown until it happens. What will be set up on Jets computer will be different from yours, so this is just a reminder to the vets and an apprisal to the newbs to send in a set of lines for the sim, not for specific team matchups.
Also, Jets thinks he can do this sim on the 23rd but if he can't, and no other simmer steps up, he will do it on the 30th. But whether it happens in 4 days or 11, let the Preseason Games commence! hey-oh!

Hes proved that he can put up 40 points and that hes capable of being a solid + player. Buffalo also gets a 1st this season, and with NYI being a borderline team it could be as high as a top 5 pick. On the other hand Scott Jackson is the most solid player in the trade which is suiting because NYI gave up a fair amount for him.

I dislike the idea of someone acting as a Agent guy and giving a different team a player because he had a NTC. It should go to highest Salary regardless of length when it involves older players.

I do think we should Raise the cap. This isnt about Star players, its about ALL players asking for more. Brassard was demanding 3 Mil a year at age 21.. that never would have happened in season 1 or 2 when contracts were affordable.
