waiting on trade commish... :eyes:
-
turn off cpu trading.
-
its easy, just play a season by yourself and read the info on fhockey.com . The game files for this game can totally be edited and switched around to your liking, once you figure out how to do things its really easy.
-
I cant believe you traded arnason to him and not me.. its just sickening.

put 23 year old core players on waivers.
-
your going to need roberts in your own end now that you claimed Czerkawski on waivers
-
is bell on the block?

Hennesy and Perreault for Nieuwendyk
The Contracts for both players are equivilent. I was trying to move Perrault from the previous gm's UFA signing last year that I disagreed with. In Nieuwendyk I get a playoff Vetern 2nd line center that will open salary space when he retires during the offseason.
-
hey its the SJ sharks gm, take a look at my team and send me a msg
-
I vote guy for 1st overall
-
dont play SJ with that line.
-
im 3-6 since joining the league.. nabokov..

-

as SJ im pissing my pants.. Nabokov better start playin cuz nash and cgy are right on my ass now.

I dont normally do the power rankings around here but they havent been posted in awhile so I scratched some stuff down and here it is.
1. Philadelphia Flyers
On a 5 Game Winning streak the flyers are pushing for #1 in the league
2. Anaheim Mighty Ducks
2-1 since the all-star break as anaheim had trouble scoring against lalime. Dont worry anaheim they wont make the playoffs
3. Pittsburgh Penguins
Ed Olczyk and his team of UFA's are playing well, but a tough week awaits them with Philly and TB. Malkins injury takes him out of rookie scoring race.
4. Ottawa Senators
The Sens have only allowed 2 goals since the all-star break and have had the best goaltending all year.
5. Florida Panthers
UFA's Check, Good goaltending Check, 20 year olds that are +17 Check.
6. Nashville Predaters
Scoring comes easily to the Preds these days with 17 goals in 3 games. SJ and Edm had better look out or they could be on the outside looking in.
7. Calgary Flames
6-2-1-1 in there last 10 the flames are putting the heat to the teams above them. Come playoff time who will make it and who will not?
8. Montreal Canadiens
A down week for the canadiens but great goaltending and scoring by committee has put the canadiens in a position to challenge for the division. Sanderwho?
9.Tampa Bay Lightning
Struggling up late the lighting are trying to pick up the pieces from a poor showing in last few weeks. Next week they play some of the hottest teams in the league.
10. New Jersey Devils
Who thought Viktor Kozlov would put up those kinds of numbers. Devils are playing 500 hockey at late. Brodeur struggles to keep his SA% up.
11. Colorado Avalanche
Without Sakic this team has a different feel to it. It used to be Sakics Avs.. now its Forsbergs Avs.. and there 4-6-0-0
12. Atlanta Thrashers
Lehtinen has emerged as one of the leagues premier goalies. I expect atlanta to overtake boston this week.
13. San Jose Sharks
Nabokov has had a hard time keeping the puck out for the sharks lately. With Nashville and Calgary playing good hockey of late SJ should feel the pressure.
14. Buffalo Sabers
Missing the playoffs is a regular feeling for this team and this year will be no different. Although they have gone 6-3-1-0 in there last 10, its nice to seen signs of life.
15. Phoenix Coyotes
Pheonix gave away alot of its young talent to get older veterns to make the playoffs.. consistancy during the home stretch will be key.
16. Edmonton Oilers
An Upgrade in goaltending is due if the oilers plan on making it to the playoffs this year. Palffy and Ryan Smyth are great together.
17. Detroit Red Wings
Their leading the division but the red wings are not red at all. Back to Back loses to calgary and edmonton have left the core of the team struggling to keep up to teams with speedier players.
18. Minnesota Wild
The loss of Gaborik will hurt this team. The wild have really struggled to score on the road without him. Giving up there 2nd rounder they still have Weight to get this team into the playoffs.
19. Boston Bruins
First moran and now Jagr! This team might not even make it to the playoffs now.
20. Vancouver Canucks
2 bad weeks for the canucks.. 2 more and they wont be able to catch the hot preds and flames.
21. Toronto Maple Leafs
Toronto is 9 spots out of a playoff spot and are struggling to win at home. Its time for Belfour to retire.
22. NY Islanders
This team has over 13 mil to pay for there top 4 D. Yet they cant help Dipietro who has struggled at times throughout the season.
23. Columbus Blue Jackets
Developing key players like Leclaire, Zheredev, and svitov will be there goals for the remainder of the season.
24. LA Kings
LA has played well at home this season; If only the team could play all their games at home.
25. NY Rangers
Key trades have made this team functionable with the salary cap but there ability to play consistant has been a huge problem.
26. Caralina Hurricanes
The Hurricanes are in the rebuilding process and have traded today to be talented for tommorrow.
27. St. Louis Blues
The Blues can either find the back of the net with regularity or not at all.
28. Chicago Blackhawks
Manny Fernandez? At least you got Tuomo.
29. Washington Capitals
Your not last! Well you are but at least you can win.
30. Dallas Stars
The stars of made alot of moves lately, but they havent gotten a win since January 18th.
-
SJ switches things up by demoting 3 and calling up 2 players.
-
Primeau claimed by CHI
Czerkawski claimed by COL
Fahey claimed by NYR

######ing nabokov.
-
the sim is today right?
-
Our GM has made a move that goes against the ownership of the sharks. Signing on the dotted line late he felt pressured to come out on top during the draft so he tried to make this move. We dont believe its in the best of the team's interest and would like to retract the trade if it hasnt gone threw. SJ ownership appoligize to Ning for the misconvience of this deal.

being new sux

so cam ward is more consistant than Leneavu.
Dicaire is going to have like 70/80/77 when hes developed and thats a damn good defensemen, which is more than kaspar will be worth 75/71/73 2nd/3rd liner.
Right now tb's first rounder is 25th OV.. the lottery wont help them because they made the playoffs. Right now SJ's holding the 19th OV spot, but we plan do make this season a dash to the finish and the pick could well finish in the low 20's.
ward > LeNeveau
Dicaire > Kaspar
25th < 19th
Martin Vagner could be a 3rd line pairing defensemen.. which anyone could just happen to get on waivers.
So I dont see much of a problem with this deal. I maybe should have gotten tomanek.. so if LeNeveau can be what nabokov can do for me now then I have no problem dealing away my first rounder this year to get a future franchise goalie.
