can someone give me some background on the ward trade
-
I dont know if this deal is to lopsided. Now that I look at it the next day it would have been nice to get tomanek with the deal but I can swallow this trade.
leneavu is better than any player I might have gotten in the draft this year because I joined late and I dunno how everyone is rated this year. I basically gave up kaspars for 2 reasons. To sweeten my around 20th OV Pick and to get Leveavu now instead of at the draft. If I waited until the draft I could have had a few other teams looking to pull the trigger on this deal.. instead all i lose is kaspar who is a poor mans 2nd liner, or an establisted 3rd liner.. and my 1st rounder in a silly lottery draft that I havent scouted at all for.

San Jose Accepts
San Jose feels unprepared for the draft and are trying to improve our youth for years to come. Leneveu is a top end goalie that will learn alot from Nabokov. Leneveu is still a few years away from being a starter but we feel better about having leneveu than whoever we would have picked in the draft even tho we were pressured for time to be prepared for the draft. You may ask where this puts toskala and thats on the trade block. Kaspar will be a good addition to the whalers.. I see him down the road as a poor mans 2nd liner or a great 3rd liner.

San Jose Trades
Marco Sturm and SJ's 3rd rounder in 2005
Dallas Trades
Mike Modano
San Jose was looking for more scoring "umph" and traded away its 3rd rounder to do so. SJ will try to resign modano.

And how can we know if somebody is using the file to cheat? We all have a gentleman's agreement that nobody should use the file to cheat. Some GMs will surely break this agreement, but there's really no way to stop it. If your conscience allows you to cheat, then I feel sorry for you.
It doesnt say in the rules using the players.ehm is cheating.

I dont think Ruutu should be in the youngstars.. he is not a rookie and will easily make the all-star team.
-
It should be based off of the standings.

Thats the money maker. Are we saying all staff are 90-90-90 or some staff would get bumps?
I think this is a good idea since some people just edit the staff file and scout with uber stats before they trade or whatever anyways

i noticed it on feb 1st that my team had stats for the second game even tho my team didnt play far down the list.. its fixed now I dunno

i looked and its fine now.. I thought it may have something to do with whoever is uploading it.. using the schedule file for another season so it glitches.

ya I was in digits delirium and i clicked on the calender and it showed the wrong games. EG: it would list all the games played that day.. then the reports for the games would be wrong.

The Sharks are pleased to announce the hiring of Paul Steil.
Hello, I would like to thank the sharks management for making the right choice. I would also like to thank the team getting in playoff contention without a GM. Expect a big fast gritty san jose team.
Is this the end of the SJ run and gun?
