"I always do that. I always mess up some mundane detail."
"Oh! Well, this is not a mundane detail, Michael!"

It looks like my e-mail for the sim bounced back...
Is habsworld.ehm@gmail.com the proper address? Please advise. Thx!

Goaler: He had a good week last week, but we'll see what happens with Julius Peppers breathing down his neck all day. I don't see many of the games, but 202 yards for 2 TDs is good enough for me! Joe and Psycing, the avatar is a shout out.

Hey everybody. Hello again to those of you who were here when I left almost two years ago. To those I haven't met, I'm Ryan, but Mils is fine too. I live in St. Louis, MO and am a big hockey fan (obviously). Also a Broncos fan, but can't explain how Tebow wins.
Just to cover some basics (and some repetition from my team needs thread... sorry), I'm not looking to blow up my team or do the usual new GM thing because my team is winning and I don't see any reason to go nuts. I probably won't be doing as many trades as I did when I played last and I want to hang on to my draft picks.
On gchat, catch me at Mils0089 (zero, zero, eight, nine).
Over the next week or so, I'm going to be putting my charts together and getting an idea of what I'm dealing with and where we are with contracts and age and all that.
Anything else, don't hesitate to find me on gchat. I'll be on there when I can be. Thanks!

I need to solidify the left side.
Yeremenko and Naslund and a 2nd are available in some combination.
I am looking for players who are either legitimate 2nd liners or legitimate 3rd line/PK forwards.
MY GMAIL IS: MILS0089 (those are zeros)

Team #4!!! I'll get a trade page and some other essentials up and running as soon as I can and I have a decent idea of what this team is. Thx!!

Sorry for the inactivity. I genuinely just forgot that this was still going on. I think that's a good sign that I am not interested enough to play. Sincere apologies to the next GM of the Avs. 4.5 years is good for me. Thank to everybody who helped me out and was cool over the years.
Sorry again for screwing up the team, it wasn't malicious.
Kind regards.

1. Posting so nobody thinks I accused Jets of cheating.
2. Jets: stay.
3. Go Avs.

The #3 pick belongs to Minny (Kane trade). Might land someone like Jenis, Taylor or Law. Quite the return for Oshie, isnt it?
Yes. That tips the scales fairly steeply. And I made the concession at the time that a big sweep of luck was one of the inherent risks in trading that pick, and that's exactly what happened. If it was just the #7 pick (based on the fact that I finished ahead of 6 teams), then it wouldn't be quite so lopsided. A big stroke of luck on random chance isn't a fair assessment of a season-old trade, it's revisionist history. hindsight in this case is 20/20. If Oshie had gotten hurt for the year in his third game, I would've looked even worse, and the pick would've been better. The lottery results are irrelevant.
As I also explained at the time, Oshie was the best return for that pick that I could get at the time because nobody was willing to back up the talk about how awful my team was. Everybody KNEW that I was just so awful I'd never make it out of the basement, but when it came time to back it up and pay for the pick like it would be in the top 5, Minny was the only one there. So, I say good for Minny. I'm glad the chips fell in his favor.

Colorado, begin suckage.... Now, please. Thank you.
I have started quick in the past. Sustaining it is the trick.
Tony: What the hell happened with 1:29 to go in the third? Blood-bath.

There's no place for cliques in this League.
Agreed entirely.
And although I may not always love the way you conduct yourself personally, if the question is whether you should or should not be able to be an interim commissioner, I am in favor.

Well, I gave HWL GMship another shot and just established that I don't have the time to devote to this to do it properly. Sorry. Thanks for taking me back briefly. I'm out. Best of luck everyone!
