Ok, any Hab fan is a friend of mine. I've played my whole life. You're new here, and I've never seen anyone's points get destroyed as fast as yours, often by simple common sense and logic. We took the Bruins to OT in game 7 last season, by the way.This team sucks this year,. Who TF are you to question anyones fandom ? You seem to be someone who never played the game and just wear pom poms for the home team no matter how they do. I admire the Flyers(and Bruins) organizations because they have a much better plan in place then we do.I hate the B's and aren't crazy about the Flyers. You do know those are the teams that has K.O'd us the last 4 playoffs ?

No. That's not even the topic. Come correct, you're a flyer fan, right? Everything about everything you post suggests you're not an actual fan of this team, or a fan of the actual sport of hockey.Coaches scratched Emelin for Campoli,Diaz and Kaberle at various times. The coaches and GMs on this team have been awful,which is why we are awful.
So you're saying our goalies don't get run any more than other teams?

Leaf fan still calls us Smurfs, at this point we're probably bigger up front. If they eke into 8th, they'll get swept by Boston or NY, it wouldn't be close. Poor CBC, rough night when there heroes lose.

You're absolutely right, and I believe he'll flourish with another team. You just get the feeling he'll finally become a 30 goal man somewhere else. Seems like our luck anyway.It matters not if he does or doesn't deserve it. It is extremely rare for a player to get a cheaper deal in his first time as a UFA than he did as an RFA. With more teams in the bidding, his money inherently increases. Kostitsyn is putting up comparable numbers to his career averages which means he's not in decline. Someone will give him more than he's getting now, I can pretty much guarantee that.

Ok, you just cherry picked one of the most physically imposing players of the last decade. Every team would want him. Let's be realistic, Emelin isn't the same player.How about both. Emelin is a great hitter,but intimdated no one from running our goalies.Do you see players running Thomas when Chara is on the ice ?

I agree with you, I want him back in the organization. I suspect he's a wealthy man himself, and can handle today's player better than, for example Mario Tremblay. Who back in the day couldn't.I would take Roy as either Coach or GM to be honest. I really think his passion could light a fire in a lot of players bellys.
The only question is could professionals work with him.
Sure kids love him, but it is a lot easier to have 16-20 year olds become enamored with you than 18-40 year old millionaires.
I am not saying it is impossible but that is the thing that scares me.

Have we fallen that much? That we're contemplating the value of our backup goalie. How many rounds are in the draft? Because he'll get you a pick in the last round, if someone feels sorry for PG.I'm hearing it all, Gomez was no good because he didn't have a good winger, Cammy was no good because Markov was not in line up, Price is no good because he has a poor team in front of him. I thought this was a team game. I think their is enough STINK to go around for everyone. How about something positive. How about we play Budaj, since this team is going nowhere, the emphasis on team; and see if we can't get something for him at deadline. Why not try it? By the way--- I think Columbus will pass us before we are done.

I'm just pointing out that you simply can't get inside someones head.Not as foolish as you do sticking up for this laughingstock organization the Habs have become.Pleks is about the only player on the team with a mean streak. And he has lost that.There are many players frustrated with this organization. Get the blinders off.

I'm done with AK. We drafted the wrong player, time to move on. He deserves a cut in pay, not a raise.So bourque ad a nice fight, so what? Big shit! We lost 3-0. Really picked up the team right. Would have been more helpful if he scored on the breakaway.
I'd rather have Ak46 signed long term at $4m then Bourque for 4 years at his $3.3m.
How much pp time does AK get??? Before Darche and Moen got more ice time then AK46, now Blunden does.
This team was what 0 for 7 on the PP last night??? How much time did AK46 get?? Yet you expect more production out of him???

This was the game. I have the strangest feeling this 4 minute penalty to Darche just ended the minuscule chance we had of making the playoffs. And the Bell Center knows it.

Benoit Brunet agrees with you. He just ripped AK, wants the team to not resign him. He's been on him for years.Not a whole lot to get excited about there. Kostitsyn seems on a mission to kill his trade value with yet another clunker of a game so far. Gomez has some jump at least, I was impressed by how quickly he was able to catch and get around the Washington defenders on dump ins.
