Id rather not have a complete reboot of rosters because some of us have worked hard with long negociations to get some of the players we have. What i am in favour of is the player agent idea, the draft being unknown, lesser playerscouting, more "watching development over the season scouting" to make the picks after round 2 worth something, and the age of retirement going up to 37 or so. Also Andrew had the idea that players with NTCs could "waive" them. Say a GM has a deal in place to move a NTC player, the TC would rold a dice or something and evens he waives, odds he doesnt. That would help out GMs who are stuck with players with NTCs that they didnt give them, like Niedermayer with me last season, he was retiring and i couldnt move him at the deadline.

true taht Hossa would cost us 7 million per season, but Ryder won't be there and neither will smolinski. You've already got 5 million$ saved with those two players. then there's Cullimore(625K), Murray (600K) and Brisebois(700K) who wont be back. That's another 1.925 million$. WE can now afford Hossa!
The Cap is expected to go up again too, and i wouldnt be surprised to see Dandy and Bouillon moved by next year.
