You still have the fill the hole that Samsonov leaves at forward which even if it is a young guy close to $1 million.
That hole was filled last year. I believe a Mr. Andrei Kostitsyn did that nicely.

Sheldon is absolutley one of my favourite habs of the me watching them era... and as much as i want him back, I doubt its going to happen. So in essance I wish we had traded him at the deadline cuz he wouldve brought more than Rivet did.

6.75 million for a guy like Souray ... dmd this league is going crazy! He isn't bad but surely not good enough for a Nr.1 blueliner salary.
Markov already has our #1 man salary.

Yo, welcome, have fun, good luck.

Eks saying were interested in Wayne Primeau.
-
I gotta go with Burke.
-
I just dont want to see him rushed in and then have something devastating happen to his confidence that he cant get over. I say play him the year in Hamilton and then start him when Huets time is up.

What I'd Like to See With a 52 Million Cap
Smyth(5.25)-Koivu(4.75)-Ryder(3).... AKA, the rebound banger, the Finnish playmaker and the shooter line.
Latendresse(850K)-Briere(6)-Kovalev(4.5)....AKA, the hardhitting sophomore, the smoothskating playmaker and the veteran sniper with something to prove line.
Higgins(1.5)-Plekanec(1)-Kostitsyn-(850K)....AKA the offensive youngsters who hold their own in thier own end line.
Begin(1)-Lapiere(650K)-Lahti(750K)....AKA the energy/checking line with a bit of offensive punch.
Komisarek(1.75)-Markov(5.75)....AKA Great D line 1.
Souray(4.75)-Hannan(4.5)....AKA Great D line 2.
Streit(600K)-Vaananen(1)....AKA the D line lightyears better than Dandouillon line.
Huet(2.85)/Halak(650K)...AKA the #1 and #2 who are both scared for their jobs by the emergance of the one they call PRICE!!!
Well thats it thats my team and I think it would win cups for years to come and it humps up against the cap so nicely.

This could be bad or good.. good because Bob set the bar for signing good DMen (Hannan, Souray, Timo, Rafalski) cant want more than that... and we can dump Samsonov, there has to be somebody now who will take a risk on him.

well, Japan has a huge military expenditure, they just call it a defense force as a way around the whole problem that they are not allowed to have a military. They are about to buy a whack load of these badboys to defend Japan ....
Their defense force could kick Canada's army's asses!
Also, Ireland, until recently, had a serious terrorism problem ... and they were probably seriously limited in what they could get for a military by England.
But aside from that, makes sense that the Northern European countries and Canada are up there.
What about Cuba ... they are pretty peaceful! Very little crime, and very little military ... aside from that whole Guantanimo Bay deal.
Theyre about to get a bunch of STARSCREAMS were doomed!

An electrician is called in to wire an extension on a house, which consists of three rooms. After all three rooms are wired and the light fixtures are installed, his apprentice is called away to another job, so the electrician has to finish the job of connecting the new rooms to the electrical panel in the basement by himself. But he doesn't want to make a trip upstairs and then back down to the basement for every room. So how can he connect each room to the electrical panel, and identify which room is on which circuit breaker, and only go upstairs and back down once?
Turn on two breakers, let the first stay on for 10 minutes, turn the 2nd one off at 5 minutes and leave the last one off altogether... the turn the one thats still on, off and go upstairs.. the hottest bulb is the first breaker, the warm one is the 2nd and the cold one is the 3rd.

According to this the cap will be at 52 million this year, lots of room for Bob to do some serious tinkering to the roster!
