  1. man its gonna be tough to get one past Marty tonight, gotta get another pp or 2 WOW!
  2. TSN is reporting that Markov skipped practice but will try to skate friday. Price is expected to start. http://tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?fid=10460&hubname=
  3. Here you go http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=223721&hubname=
  4. Also, is it a fact that Raycroft is Starting for the Leafs tomorrow, because if he does I think that improves our chances. Toskola has been solid in the 2 Toronto wins vs the Habs this year.
  5. That may be the case, but I think the Habs could have very easily won all 3 games this year vs the leafs. Game one we had a 3-1 lead late in the second, game 2 there was a lucky bank shot by Sundin, and 2 "weak" goals given up by Huet (the winner with less than 2 minutes to go). I guess a Leaf fan could say that the leafs could be up 3-0 in the season series as well, but theres just something about how the leafs win the games that doesn't sit well with me. That's why I'm hoping for a comfortable win (3 or more goals) tomorrow.
  6. I wish that worked for me, cuz if it did we would be 82 and 0 I really though they would beat the Sabres on saturday, but I really, really think they will win this one. It's the leafs for cryin out loud. We have to win!
  7. Yes he is. And you wouldn't hear Beliveau say something like that, at least i don't think he would.
  8. Maybe this will light a fire under some of the guys who aren't producing like they should. Guy Lafleur said this during RDS' post-game show after Saturday's loss: "Le Canadien n'a pas de premier trio, il compte sur quatre quatrimes trios!" which loosely translates into, "The Canadiens don't have a first line. They have four fourth lines." - TSN I know the last couple of games have been tough, but four 4th lines?!?
  9. lets hope the pk is a little better than last night.
  10. Also, is it a fact that Grabs is playing tonight, and Kosty is scratched? Not sure what Carbo is thinking there, if this is true, breaking up our most consistant line. I like Grabovski's hustle out there, but the guy can't score. Anyway, GO HABS GO!!!
  11. I don't know, for some reason I see a big win tonight for the boys. Somewhere in the 4-1 or 5-2 range. They've been pretty consistant this year so far coming out strong after a stinker the night before.
  12. Unfortunately it isn't working for me, anyone else have it working?
  13. Is anyone watching on sopcast, if so do they have an address?
  14. Somehow I doubt Huet would be happy with a backup role.
  15. Hmm seems like TSN already has. "Cristobal Huet made 25 saves for the Canadiens in losing his third straight start and his fourth in his last five games. Rookie backup Carey Price has one loss in regulation in seven starts this season."
  16. If you count overtime/shootout losses, he is 6-7 (6-5-2)
  17. I kind of agree with you Wamsley, I am getting really comfortable with Price in the net, not to say that tonights score would have been different, because I have yet to see the game.
  18. Price played the first one, thats where his regulation loss came from 4-3
  19. I'm guessing it will be Price against the Islanders wed, then Huet for the first game against the Sabres on friday, then back to Price on Saturday.
  20. I really can't comment on the goals, cuz I have yet to see them, but sometimes a goalie has gotta make a "big save" you know stop one that shouldn't have been stopped, goalies do it enough to us. Huet has been great for the most part this season, but it seems like he just goes into these mini slumps frequently where he can't make the Big save.
  21. Wow, 16 shots, couldn't beat Gerber. Did we come close?
