Just wondering, I know the negotiations were not going well. But he was drafted in 2004 so does that mean we needed to sign him by june 1st,or he goes back to the draft? Not sure on this but the Wild lost their 1st round pick from 2004 because they couldn't work out a deal. It would be nice to get him signed, he seems like a can't miss prospect.

Surprised a bit by the fact the will not try to keep at least one of Bonk or Johnson. Also does rebuild the D mean that he has no intention of keeping either Markov or Souray? Or does it mean he is going to try and move some of the other guys like Dandy and Bouillon? Because Komi isn't going anywhere. I think thats a given. And Streit is so versatile and cheap it makes sense to keep him around.

Then one has to wonder if Carbo will change the system. This team is built for speed. Not a defensive shutdown type game.

I can not believe the negativity. So we're losing 3-0 The leafs lost 7-2 the other night. Now we can't beat them because we're losing one game? Come on people show some faith. Saturdays game will be a tough battle it always is when we play the leafs. Why is it any diferent now?

Will they definitely start their backup against the leafs? Is this confirmed? He wouldn't be the first goalie to play back to back nights. Raycroft does it all the time for the leafs. And I wouldn't trade Lehtonen for 100 Raycrofts.
