    I'm puzzled.. why did the Canes moved Cole? He was a very good player for them. Why did they kicked him out?

    And yikes @ Green contract.. it makes me worried.. in such a crazy market, how much will it cost us to keep Komi next year? 7-8 mil? <_<

    I do hope the Bruins do give that 100M contract to Hossa, he's a good player but he's not worth that much dinero IMO.

    I really really hope he sign with us, since he's the best avaible UFA for the Habs by a long shot, but I dont think he will. If he still refuse to sign tomorrow, Bob will put plans B to E into action, basically spending Sundin's money on some other player(s). If come August 1st Sundin decide he want to play for the Habs after all, well we wont have any cap space left for him.

    At 1.5- 2 mil, I like Streit. If he commands 2.5+mil, not so much.

    I cant blame him for tying to make as much money as he can tough. His career in the NHL wont last that much longer, hes already quite old.

    I question his obsession with playin D tough, while hes more much valuable as a versatile player.

    I predict he will end up either in Toronto or Detroit. The Rangers have too much $ tied up at centre with Gomez and Drury as it is tough, I dont think getting Sundin is a smart move for them. Unless Sundin takes way below market value to play in New York, he wont play for them.

    One thing I'm sure of tough, Sundin will be playing in the NHL this season. All this retirement talk is pure BS.

    Hard to disagree with you, BTH. Great post :clap: Only thing I disagree with is than I think than Bruce Boubreau is more worthy of being coach of the year, tough Carbonneau really matured this year and will only get better with time.

    Speaking of getting better with time.. Komisarek , The Kost. bros , Plekanec , Higgins , Georges, Halak , Price and co.. we have a lot of promising young players on this team that can only improve in the next few years.

    With this team, the best is yet to come! :)

    What a lameass serie so far. Philly is so lucky, all their goals are of the ugly and lucky kind, we hit ton of posts and crossbars and Carey has picked the wrong time to go in a slump. The only Flyers that really deserve to be up 2-1 is Biron.

    I know than I posed the same thing in the last GDT, but the winner of this serie will have the honour of being canon fodder for NY/Pitt.

    Holy crap that 3rd goal was one big screw up .. the forwards sucked, the D sucked and Price sucked all in the same sequence

    I'm not impressed by either team in this game, si la tendance se maintient the winner of this serie will get eaten alive by the winner of NY/Pitt.
