Flyers were quite lucky in this period. I'm not worried, we generally outplayed them. And is it, or they are quite soft for a team that have such a ''badass'' reputation? The contrast with Boston couldnt be sharper.

I have respect for the Bruins , Predators, Flames , Capitals.. all those underdogs are putting up a real fight.. but not the Senators, they just dont care. They were pathetic all serie long. They got what they deserved.

I've noticed some more casual Boston fans friends at work talking about being ripped off by the ref. You ask me, it's 50/50. I'm angry about our ripoffs too! Boston has had joke PP's just as much as we have!
The difference tough is than from Boston, having a joke of a PP is expected. Not so much for our Habs.

Wow the WSH/PHI and Pit/OTT games were amazing. The Capitals's entusiasm is contagious, you cant help but love this team. I'm definitively jumping on their bandwagon if the Habs gets eliminated before they do. Tough, I think they need to improve their defense if they want to have a legit chance to win the Cup.
Anyone else think the Lapointe high-sticking call was a bit iffy at best?
Not at all , it was a 100% legit call. Plus, when you dont show up for half the game and allow 50+ shots on goal, you simply dont deserve to win.

Well the West is more predictable, in the first round at least.. Detroit, SJ and Anaheim seems to clearly be above the rest to me. The only matchup with a clear favourite in the East would be Montréal/Boston.. I just dont see at all the Habs loosing against the Bs in the playoff, not after kicking their ass 8 (you could even say 11) straight times in the season.

I hope the morons who did this get caught and they should spend several YEARS in jail for making Montréal and Québec looking like a bunch of savages.
It's so frustrating than 2-300 people out of 100,000+ can screw up the party like that
