  1. I am. It's possible that the top 4 in the east advance. Home ice (1,2,3,4) teams might win all series in the east. When was the last time that happened?

Quite recently in fact : 2006

    (1) Ottawa beats (8) Tampa 4-1

    (2) Carolina beats (7) Habs 4-2

    (3) Devils beats ( 6) Rangers 4-0

    (4) Buffalo beats (5) Philly 4-2

In the West it was the opposite, 5,6,7,8 advanced

    (8) Edmonton beats (1) Detroit 4-2

    (7) Colorado beats (2) Dallas 4-1

    ( 6) Anaheim beats (3) Calgary 4-3

    (5) San Jose beats (4) Nashville 4-1

  2. Price let the fans know they crossed a line

I think the fans are perfectly justified in booing when they're not getting their money worth because the team play like crap. Those guys are paid million$ to play a frikkin game so I cant say I have much sympathy when their poor feelings are hurt.

Granted, Price is far from the sole guy responsible for the 2nd half and playoff debacle, but he do have one of the worst save %age in the entire league since the all star break. His pitful accomplishements leave him no space to get arrogant with the fans.

  3. If we only speak about the Habs, 6-7 at most. I know a win is unlikely, but if Théodore could pull it off maybe this edition can too... As long as they dont get humiliated like the Sens did last year I think i'l find something to be positive about. The Bruins are plain better at every position so it's gonna be a really uphill battle.

If we speak about the playoff in general tough i'm a 10. All matchups are great and I have a favourite in almost every serie (exceptions being NJD/CAR, which I both want to loose, and DET/CBJ, I dont mind who wins that one)

  4. Guess it's destiny we meet them again, eh. Just like Batman vs Joker, Habs-Bruins is a battle that will never ends.

I say this will be last year in reverse : Everybody will expect the Bruins to dominate the Habs, but the Habs will surprinsgly take them to game 7 and will really make them EARN the victory.

  5. Personally I have more confidence in Halak but we all know it's gonna be Price in the nets.

Halak is a stable B. He won't steal you games, but he wont make you loose either.

Price is all over the map. When he's awesome he's really above Halak, bu in his downtimes he's among the worst goalies in the league. He varies in beetween A and E all the time.

The preferential treatment being given to Price piss me off TBH. He's Gainey's boy and can do no wrong. That's the one single thing I don't like about our GM/coach.

I for one will not blame Halak when he gets tired of the double standard and GTFO of the Habs organisation.

  6. Man, many used to think Dandenault time in MTL was near over, but aint we glad he's here now!

Price looks very shaky out they're. Frankly I'd feel better if Halak was in net. Price can either be wonderful or atrocious.. Halak, IMO, offer much more stable performances. Halak's best is not as good as Price, but he never get as bad either.

  7. You think? I didn't think he looked concussed at all after the hit, even on the replay.

His head did hit the board first thing. Thats whats worries me the most about ths hit.

Craposki is such a punk. I hope somebody kick his punk ass soon
