  1. They're is something that really irks me in the Liberal budget plan

They predict a FOUR PERCENT GDP GROWTH per year for the next 4 years.

Considering all what's going on that's way past being optimist and falls downright into irresponsible or downright naive territory. Earth calls Dion : We're in a recession, or very close to it at the very best and things will get worse before they get better.

So what this means is than the Liberal budget plan contain at least one major lie

    Either

    - The carbon tax wont be revenue neutral

    - They will have to cut even more spending that what they are telling us

    - They plan on having a deficit

    - They wont create all those programs they are promising

    - They will have to raise other taxes to balance the budget

    Pick your poison.

To me it doesnt really matter what the lie is. What I do know is than I cant trust Stéphane Dion with Canada's economy.

  2. ***, add Lang and Higgins to the inury list

I dont give a *** if we loose all our remaining pre-season games, I just want the team to be healthy at the season opening.

  3. I really think that Grabovski blew it when he went crying at his agent's house.

I agree 100% with that. Gainey is not the type of man to tolerate such immature antics.

The second rounder of the Leafs means a 31-33th choice overall, just watch what Timmins will pick us with that

Didnt we traded that pick for Lang?

  4. Considering they only poll 45 ppl per riding in a few select ones, i'm not certain how reliable that info is. Plus some of those ridings that were close last time wont be this one, like the ones in Québec City. The CPC is almost as strong they're than in Calagary now. Info on places like Trois Rivières , Drummondville and Saguenay would be more useful in determining what's going on.

  5. After the North American Beer Festival, all the brewery presidents decided to go out for a beer. The guy from Corona sits down and says, "Hey Senor, would like the world's best beer, a Corona." The bartender dusts off a bottle from the shelf and gives it to him.

The guy from Budweiser says, "I'd like the best beer in the world, give me 'The King Of Beers', a Budweiser." The bartender gives him one.

The guy from Coors says, "I'd like the only beer made with Rocky Mountain spring water, give me a Coors." He gets it.

The guy from Molson sits down and says,

"Give me a Coke." The bartender is a little taken aback, but gives him what he ordered.

The other brewery presidents look over at him and ask, "Why aren't you drinking a Molson's?"

The Molson president replies, "Well, I figured if you guys aren't drinking beer, neither would I."

  6. A Wii dissapointment would've been Soulcalibur Legends or Red Steel.

I didnt played these so I cant say :)

Other then Brawl, you can say that about any Wii game.

Even Galaxy? To me that was by far the most impressive Wii game. I'm crossing my fingers for a Galaxy 2 before the end of Wii's lifetime.

And I'm not a big FE fan, the only contact I had with the serie were the GC and Wii game. I enjoyed the GC one, but the Wii one not so much,

  7. I'd say Radiant Dawn is my favourite game on the Wii.

Funny, that one is my biggest dissapointement by far on the Wii. It felt too much like Path of Radiance 1.5 to be enjoyable to me. Nothing in that game couldnt had been done on the Cube...

  8. My personal favourites are by far Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario. Then again, I'm a big Mario fan so my opinion is biased in the plumber's favour. I also enjoyed both Trauma Centre games. No More Heroes is good too, even tough Santa Destroy is the most boring fictional city ever. The boss fight are what makes the game worth it.

  9. First day of campaign, first dumb quote

''Alberta oil is making Québec poorer'' - Gilles Duceppe (Le pétrole de l'Alberta appauvrit le Québec)

Does he really think people are imbecile enough to believe that? Alberta's oil is the only reason the budget is still balanced for Christ sake, and that's where equalisation money comes from. And who have the biggest equalisation cheque? That's right, Québec.

So STFU and GTFO Gilles, your ignorance of basic economics is embarassing.

  10. The Liberals will eventually rebound, dont worry. If '82 didnt killed them permanently I dont think anything will. It will take them a decade to recover from adscam in Québec tough. The process would be a lot quicker had they elected Ignatieff leader tough.

  11. Just saw an old but very good film : Total Recall

***ed up story that grabs your interest and lot of very good action scenes. I was captivated from beggining to end. Now thats an action movie!

Funnyly too, I got this only because it was on a double feature disc with Terminator 2, and I liked this one better than T2 haha.

  12. Look at that roster (copy-pasted from a leafs board).. so pitful than I cant hate the Leafs anymore, you cant dislike an opponent that cant fight..

    Kulemin - Antropov - Steen

    Blake - Grabovski - Tlusty

    Hagman - Stajan - Moore

    Mayers - Bell - Hollweg

    Devereaux

    Kaberle - Kubina

    Colaiacavo - Finger

    Stralman - Frogren

    Kronwall

    Toskala

    Joseph

Apart from the first D pairing and the starting goaltender.. thats downright sad.

  13. Apparently Andrej Meszaros has signed a $5M/yr offer sheet, altough the team hasnt been disclosed. It's not even certain if that offer sheet really exist or if it's just a silly rumor... I find it hard to believedsomeone would pay that much for him. He's good, yeah, but $5M good? I dont think so...
