Oh-oh!!!! Carle heads to the bench holding his arm?!?! Not good. Let's hope it's just a minor thing and he can return to the game.

OK...new update on Fortier.....he is day-to-day; he is skating, and he is expected to return to the lineup sometime next week.

I have no update on Fortier. We'll have to wait and see if he's in the lineup or not.

Until then, we get to see Rochester and Grand Rapids about a million times each!

After tonight we don't see the Monsters again until March 11.

Oh, wait...I'm good at guessing games like this! I know who!!! Ummmmmm, is it the Rochester Americans? No. Is it the Toronto Marlies? No. Is it the Manitoba Moose? No. Wait.....don't tell me. Hmmmmmmmm...let me think now.......Oh...oh...I know.....it must be the LAKE ERIE MONSTERS!!!!! GO DOGS GO!!! There are so many other teams within the AHL who could be on the schedule and break up the repetitive Division opponents....however, given the fact that most travel is done by bus, I can understand why we don't get to see some of these other teams more often than we do.

Dumont's shot was a ROCKET from the blue-line. WOW!!! He wound that up and let it fly. The puck actually hit the post first and then bounced into the net. And I am happy to say that my seat was not trashed from the school kids game. There wasn't even any gum stuck under the seat. I'm impressed!!

That's because there WERE 9,000 screaming kids in attendance. This was what they are calling the Bulldogs School Day Game. I think every school in the city had a field trip to The Dog Pound. Thank God I had to work today....I couldn't have handled sitting there and listening to the screaming kids all game!! And those kids had better not have trashed my seat, either!!!

5 mins remaining in the 3rd...the dogs have clawed back to tie the game 3-3 thanks to goals by Klubertanz and Bishop.

3-1 in the 3rd (for the Phantoms)...Bulldogs goal was scored back in the 1st period by Maxwell, assisted by Avtsin. Shots are 18-17 in favour of the Dogs... ROBERT MAYER has allowed 3 goals on those 17 shots. where is the "puke" emoticon when I need it?!?!
