This one is going to hurt. This series is over. I'm not entirely decided yet, but I think I'm going to just stay home and suffer with Derek on the radio. I've been absolutely MISERABLE all day at work thanks to last night's game. I knew I should have gone across the street from Copps Coliseum last night to Hamilton Place and go to the Alice Cooper concert instead. Oh well....for what it matters...GO DOGS GO!!!

Score now tied at 1-1. Personally, I would prefer Houston. There are some Houston fans who I have gotten to know and have become friends of mine over the years since the Dogs lost to the Aeros in the Calder Cup Finals back in 2003. There will be some nice friendly bantering back and forth if our two teams meet up again at this time.

The Hamilton Bulldogs now advance to the Western Conference Finals vs either the Houston Aeros or the Milwaukee Admirals. I also had high hopes for him this season based on his his past stats. I have not looked back yet on my writings, but in the Hamilton Bulldogs season preview that was posted here on HW, I recall that I picked Avtsin as the top points scorer as a season prediction. Remind me never to go to Las Vegas. LOL. He has been a sniper in the shootouts, but he makes the same move each time.....top shelf on the goalie's left side. Once all the teams pick that up, he had better hope that he has new bag of tricks up his sleeve.

He was pretty good in the shootout situations during the season but has been a big disappointment otherwise.
