    What free agent out there is the answer to our scoring woes? The broken Erikkson? Perron? Okposo at 6 or 7 million?

    There is nobody out there, besides Stamkos, that is a HUGE upgrade to what is already on the team.

    The team goes nowhere without Subban? You mean the team goes nowhere without Price. PK is an amazing player and currently my favorite Hab, but he's overrated in the eyes of many Canadiens fans. I don't think a return of Hall, Nurse, Yak, and the 4th is all that unreasonable considering how desperate Edmonton is. If you think that doesn't improve the Canadiens next year and for years to come, then I guess we can agree to disagree

    I actually agree with you about the trade. that gives the habs a lineup something like this

    Hall Dubois (sp) Gallager

    Eller Plekanic Desharnes

    Plug Plug Plug

    Markov Petry

    Beaulieu Nurse

    Sergachev/Juolevi/Chychrun Emelin

    (I know that I haven't accounted for LD or RD but whatever this is purely hypothetical)

    I also really like Subban but if you can get a ridiculous deal for him then its worth it.

    Totally root for the Sharks.

    I like a lot of players on this team.

    Couture, Pavelski, Burns, Vlasic.

    Even Marleau and Thornton (used to dislike Big Joe until he made that comment about his potential 4 goals celebration)

    Fantastic points, Commandant. But the 'demonization' of MT has long passed the point of reason, so no number of mere facts will be sufficient to dislodge the idea that Therrien is simply scheming to destroy Galchenyuk while giving DD 45 minutes of ice per night.

    This is what I've been saying all along....jeez finally someone gets it ;)

    Ha ha, I was just listening to Daren Dreger on Montreal 690, He said that any team would have to be very desperate to even consider Andre Kostisyn.

    He said he was completely out or shape. He actually called him a "big man", and not in a good way.

    Watched Juolevi tonight in St Catharines. Totally disappointed. Not sure if he's hurt, or maybe London resting him since they were up 3-0? But he seemed to be playing on the 2nd pairing, and he didn't standout at all. Mete rushed the puck better, Graves, Martinet and Jamieson all played better than Juolevi.

    He's small...Doesn't look over 6foot and looks about 190 soaking wet.

    He did absorb 2 big hits and kept right on going.

    I'd be shocked if Chychrun wasn't selected before Juolevi. Sergachev too.

    Tkachuk was a steady net presence all night long. Took a few dives and whined constantly to the ref which was dissapointing.

    And his dad's now a fatass, I have pics to prove it...lol

    I was going to go the game too, but couldn't get the night off work.

    Yes, what the ###### MB? You could have had 2 crappy coaches, but instead choose to keep one.

    Do you honestly think Therrien can out coach even one of those guys?

    MT has been treading water for a while now, we missed an opportunity to make a positive change.

    Well it looks like we are stuck with another year of Le Genius.....I wonder if Guy Boucher would come on as an assistant...

    before this vote of confidence I was actually daydreaming about hiring Crawford and Boucher as a coaching tandem. Crawford getting the head and Boucher the ass...

    but really, it wasn't that kind of dream, get your head out of the gutter ;)

    seriously I thought it would be a great Tandem

    This is a post I made regarding the hiring of both Boucher and Crawford last month.....le sigh

    If Ottawa wins a cup with these guys at the helm I will expect payment for copy-write infringement...... or some such thing,

    ether way.... what the MB you could have made this happen. but you didn't.

    ya I just watch a Lehkonen highlight package from his season, and man oh man does he have a release. Most of the time his wrist shot was in the net before the goalie(s) could even move. Not to mention that he can dangle and has an impressive one-timer and snap shot.

    but he does look small (which is Probably why we were able to get him where we did in the draft) if he was 6'2 he looks like top 15 for sure.

    If he is eligible to play on the rock next season he should. At least he would get a couple of call-ups through out the season.

    From a PR point of view, bringing any one of the three on board would certainly help.

    I think there needs to be an extra layer between Therrien and the players, and I think anyone of those guys could do it or maybe Muller?

    Also there needs to be someone with clout on the staff to talk to Therrien when he runs out of ideas, someone to say "hey Mike it looks like the other teams in the league have figured out the system, maybe we should tweek it a bit?"

    Therrien is such a hard ass that he wouldn't listen unless the other guy was established (Crawford), or smart enough to have that conversation in private to save face(Boucher).

    Wow I think this little argument is a microcosm of the Habs season in general. Everything is great when we are winning but as soon as we start sucking every little frustration boils over.

    Commandant = Pacioretty

    Lovett = Subban

    Looks like they just cant get along boys.....gonna have to get rid of one of them :scared:;) ah hell throw in the coach too while we are at it....

    I think that if indeed Yakupov is available MB should at least try to land him. He will never be as available as he is right now. If you could sell Emelin to the Oilers you do it. I actually think that Charelli might do that because he often saw the best of Emelin. I would even keep a million or so to make it happen.

    The biggest Problem might be selling the Oilers to Emelin with the no trade.

    I think I would shit myself if he came to Montreal, it would just be so great because every Toronto fan in the world believes that he coming to Toronto if not Tampa.
