Trying not to read into this too much, maybe just look at it as confidence. OB talks about his mohawk and 5 guys left in the room that need to shave their head. His tone seemed a little ahead of himself in the way he refers to the next round and how he has a first round stripe already notched on his head.. I hope OB and the boys don't count their chickens before they are hatched.
GOHABS GO!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like Carbo is taking Streit out and putting Ryder in. Neither are scoring and at least Ryder is hitting. This could be Ryder's chance to pop in a few and finally get his game going...........if he can manage to hit the net.

I think I am done with 300 references after what the Sens pulled on Monday night
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you kidding me? The guy that came up with that idea must be shot. I'd be wearing a paper bag on my head if I was a Sens fan, and not because they got swept.

I actually think the whole defence has been sucking. Hamrlik has been great and I suppose Brisebois has been doing a bit better than he normally does. But Markov and Streit are playing way below their potential, Gorges isn't doing his best and Komisarek is doing his best (he doesn't look 100%) but still below what he's capable of.
I would say that once Markov or Streit wakes up, the series is over and the Bruins won't have a chance. Because the only thing keeping them in it is our weak powerplay, which we can blame on our struggling pointmen.
Speaking of struggling pointmen. My buddy was visiting me here in Nashville over the weekend. We went to go get some Souvenirs for his kids. While looking at T-Shirts Sheldon Souray walked in. I told him it's a shame he's not a Habs anymore. he said "Ya, they seem to be doing pretty good this year." He had no idea what the series was at with the Bruins. He seemed like a really nice guy and man is he a Friggin tank.HUGE

Isn't it great to have some good depth as people are thinking Carbo will have problems on who to sit if and when Koivu and Bouillon are ready to play.
For Koivu, most likely it would be Dandy or Lats sitting, as Streit has earned the right to dress and is needed on the PP unit, even with his struggles so far.
As for the Cube, unless he is 100% health i would not put him in the lineup as he is only the Habs #5 or #6 dman. Maybe inserted for O'byrne or Breezer, but not with the way Breezer has stepped it up so far. I could see him replacing OB, then the pairings would be Marky-Komi, Hammy-Breezer, and Gorges-Bouillon. That is fairly solid.
Gorges has actually had a rough time out there so far, He's been getting smacked around pretty good.

8 Goals as a rookie....with the Bruins.
That's like Latendresse getting 16 goals (again ....le sigh) on the highest scoring team in the league huh?
Besides, no one fears getting the puck out of the corners when "Tenderness" is floating close by.
There is still some hope, but I always thought Latendresse would be our Milan Lucic. He started out like him but faded quickly. I wonder what Latendresse's problem is? I heard his Dad still drives him to and from games, maybe that should stop and let the kid be free to discover himself. Who knows. I hope he's watching and learning though.

Remember what all the Habs said about why they had so much trouble beating the Sens this year. They gave them too much respect.
Close thread.

Did you see Cam Neely's reaction ???
Priceless
I didn't see it, what he do?
-
Wow! very calm and exhausted celebretion.

Here we go boys. Boston's going to start going for it.......Hang in there
-
They're gonna kill me with these 1-goal games...
My heart hasnn't stopped beating madly since they dropped the puck

Julien in 2004
Therrien in 2002, he was the one who blew a gasket and cost them a 5 on 3 in the next series against Carolina
What year did we mount the big comeback. 2004 with Julien. Shit I can't remeber. It wasn't Gainey?
-
Who coached the Habs when they came back from 3-1 against Boston ?
-
Hmmm... :glare:
Hey, Thomas...
NICE SHUTOUT!
Nice one Kozed
-
See Lucic do a face plant on the glass....hahahahah
-
Big save by Price!
Can we start testing Thomas? Geez
-
Looks like they are finding their groove
-
Well it looks like speed doesn't kill toughness so far. Julien has our game figured out and we are getting pounded. Hopefully Carbo and Muller can figure this out before our boys start using the word frustrated. I'm getting nervous. Thank God for Mr. Price.

WTF is happening?

Hockey is getting really G*A*Y with these new rules

How is that a f**ckin penalty. Hit was a hip check

Why do they say that Rene Rancourt sings a good version of the nation anthem. He sounds like an over-the-hill third-age bingo-hall crooner.
He's the worst

As far as I'm concerned, THIS is the deciding game. Whoever wins this game, wins the series... Why?
1. If the B's win, they show that we can't stop their momentum, even when we desperately want to. And that will be 3 games out of 4 that they outplay us.
2. If the Habs win, we show that the B's can't handle us, once we put our minds totally to the game.
I personally believe we will win. I hope the boys prove me right...

Not sure I agree with you. I don't think the Habs will fold so easily, and neither will the Bruins. Bruins can't score and we seem to be having trouble finding the net as well, sounds like a goalie duel is brewing and I'm not about stop believing in our defense and Price.
Stills lot's of hockey left.....the battle has only begun.
