haha i wish they had an overhead camera installed (like NFL does that moves along a zipline)
it's really tough to follow the game when the camera is so close to the ice

Why would you say that to the Montreal media? So now if he doesn't do anything the first 5 games they'll hang him, or if he screws up his groin they'll have a hay day talking about how he didn't prep. Oh Boy here we go.
Relax, Kovy needed that much rest time to gear up for this season (considering how he carried the torch for the 07.08 habs so many times last year). He's a veteran, which means he doesn't need to bust his balls in the training camp/preseason. Just because he hasn't been on the ice very much doesn't mean that he threw in the towel and said the hell with training over the summer. Off ice training is very beneficial; and Kovalev works very hard at it...don't believe me, hit up youtube. He'll be ready come Oct 10th in Buffalo. And as far as the media goes...you really think Kovy cares what they think?
For all we know he could have said that so they start the criticism only to prove them wrong AGAIN with 90+ points in 08.09

For those of you looking for tickets in toronto home opener vs Habs...I just got tickets face value because i found out leafs insiders got advance ticket sales!!!!
Go to the maple leafs website, tickets, individual games, then click on the link the provide, which will bring you to the ticketmaster website, and the promotional code is "cujo". Tickets for leafs aren't on sale to the general public until Saturday, but I would act NOW if you want to land some (for some odd reason i could only get one...not 2 or 3 or 4)..Anyways away from that fact I am just trying to help out some frustrated fans who didn't land any tickets yesterday. Good luck and I will meet up with ne1 from habsworld before the game!!!

For those of you with 45+ minute wait time...im pretty sure its safe to say that you have a long way to go
it goes from 15-45 (as i saw), then im thinking it goes 10-20, then 5-10 down to 2-5 then 2 then you get a shot

I have to say NHL09 is by far the worst game EA has came out with in YEARS...since NHL2003 actually. It is FULL of glitches in online play....they fixed zero glitches from 08 and on top of that there are even more. What a disaster...also...they made the shot accuracy way too low. My game is sitting back at EB games where it belongs.

I think the habs should wear that candycane jersey design in an outdoor (or perhaps indoor) classic game, with striped toques in warmup!

All right then, they'll have 4 sides, but my guess is that the TV screens will be MUCH bigger than the ones we used to have, and that is definitely a good thing!
I don't know I like the 8 sided jumbotron..it was one of the things that made the Bell centre unique.....
As for the centre ice logo, nobody has commented on that really....I think they should do exactly what they did in NHL09...put the centennial logo behind the net or at the bluelines where the "thank you fans" used to be; and the all star game logo can go at centre ice!

I went near Kingston this summer. Scuba diving in Brockville. Nice place, but we went to buy beer and they asked ID for my 25yo friend .
LOL how young does your friend look? They didn't ask me for ID when i was 17 at the Brockville Beer Store!
If your ever in Toronto...go to Wegz...it is by far the best sports bar I have ever been to. Habs vs Leafs games are nuts!

The centre ice logo looks bad...it is too detroit-ish? Who agrees with me?
