    This trade was stupid and pointless..

    Yes Huet was struggling...but Price has NO playoff experience under his belt...I don't care what all of you Price lovers claim about Huet's playoff record, he was the go to guy for the playoffs. By doing this bob really has firstly jeopardized Price's future (his confidence could be destroyed and he could turn out to be a flop show like M.A Fleury in Pittsburgh)...Secondly, don't even put Price in the same Category at Patrick Roy right now because he is NOWHERE near Patrick Roy's caliber. Thirdly, Bob Gainey is nothing but a big Puss for not going after a player...You are having the best season since how long?...Can I get a date please?

    I don't mean to be a traitor...but I really do hope Bob Gainey gets the boot as Canadiens GM....All of the moves he has done besides Kovalev really haven't been blockbusters by any means...getting rid of ribeiro...ooo congrats there Bob you just made up for a mistake, Theodore...another mistake, Samsonov another mistake. Good lord...will you all stop having so much faith in Bob and just admit that he isn't all that great of a General manager?

    Even John Ferguson Junior Himself said on TSN that he didn't like the move...Look what the leafs got for Hal Frigging Gill....they even got more in return!

    Talk about spitting on Huet's pride...Good Job Bob...You just made another team in the East Stronger. There is no need for any Price lovers to reply to this, lets just sit back and watch and see how much of a "Genius" Bob Gainey really is. The only way I can see him recovering for this major mistake is if he lands a UFA in the offseason.

    I agree we need better goaltending... my point is that the team's play would also get them wiped out in the first round.

    These guys score up a storm on the PP and against wide open teams. They struggle against the trap. They are always looking to pass and can't seem to figure out that sometimes you have to just keep crashing the net.

    We need a big forward who can actually park himself in front of the net and stay there. We have lats but he takes too long to get there. ;)

    Why not try Komi in there?

    Let's hope Price has a strong start. Won't be good for the kids confidence should Nash undress him on the first shot.

    Cmon Brandon Dubinski did last time he started...Rick Nash makes Brandon Dubinski look like men compared to boys...with dubinski being the boy, of course.

    Also...Fedorov is back...Zherdev is a threat..same with Vyborny...Colombus has some weapons...they shouldn't be taken for granted.

    We will win this game IF we decide to get our heads out of our @sses and play a full 60 minutes of hockey...no more of this 20/40 crap!!!

    I didn't hear anything like that. In any case, I don't thiink Bob will trade Higgins.

    Ryder, Streit, O'Byrne, Smokes, Bégin, Dandy, BRisebois, Bouillon, Kostopoulos, Halak are probably available. The only problem is that the other 29 teams are only interested in Ryder, Higgins, the Kostitsyn brothers, Plex, Latendresse, Lapierre, Emelin, Valentenko, McDonaugh, Fisher, Paccioretty.

    Dont we still hold the rights to perezhogin if he does ever decide to come back? :lol:

    I think Gainey is really enjoying a big mind-###### with the media...putting out openly that he wants an impact player, being linked to numerous players, calling a press conference but also having his number retired, etc...he's sitting in his office laughing.

    This better not be about his jersey retirement! I woke up just to watch this LOL

    Anybody else hear something about a 3 way trade that involved higgins to atlanta hossa to chicago and havlat to montreal? ^_^

    Wow....i posted a lot of things earlier on but then tuned into the game because I thought it was going to get uglier...so i closed my laptop. Anyways i will quote myself "I am 110% sure they wont win...."...im so glad they made me eat my words which i will rightfully do so with pleasure because that was one of the most remarkable comebacks i have witnessed I believe in all of the years i have watched Montreal games since I was a kid.

    The way they are playing right now...they should probably bring their raincoats for the 3rd period...so they can make sure they dont get showered in Molson Export..if I was at the game though...they wouldnt even be worth throwing my beer at...

    Hey there we go...Ryders trade value just went up a bit...Hope Don Waddell is watching...
