The team needs to do more to help itself. Hopefully we'll see th following changes from the Habs:
1) DISCIPLINE!!!!
2) Playing the Habs game - not trying to play the Bruins style - these means playing a high tempo game using our speed and skill.
3) Better use of personel, starting with taking advantage of line changes to get favorable match-ups, I'd like to see the following lines:
Kovelev - Koivu - Tangauy
Kostitsyn - Plekanac - Higgins
Latendresse - Lapierre - S. Kostitysn
Kostopolous - Metropolit - Laraque
Komisarik - Hamrlik
Weber - Schneider
Gorges - Dandenault
Halak
-I'd also like Gainey double shifting the top line and mixing in Kovy on other lines
4) Driving for the friggin net, rather then cycling the puck behind the net around the point.
5) Creating traffic in front of Thomas WITHOUT taking stupid penalities!!!
6) SHOOTING the friggin puck and actually HITTING the net with traffic in front!
Thats one thing I noticed last game. Thomas was just taking all of our shots square in the chest. We need to have traffic in front! But that easier said then done when Chara is on the ice.

I dont care if this is morally wrong. This is a perfect time to run some heads. Make the refs call real penalties!

Good reffing or bad reffing, but when ever the habs get somthing going they get a penalty.
Bob has to open his ######ing mouth once in a while and rip into these refs, instead of standing there.

If that was a penalty we shouldve played PP all game for all that the Bruins have done in this game, I say again, the refs screwed us.

I would rather have the caps.. NYR did sleep walk through that game, and won. Theo is the achilles heel of that team and their D sucks. Our skill guys could rack up a bunch of goals on Theo. Add some decent goaltending from Price/Halak, and we could win that series.
I am glad we are hanging in there, but I don't think we win a series against Boston. They are beating us down. I think we can get a split in Boston with a bit of luck and hard work, but if we make it to game 6 I will be surprised/happy.
What did you expect? All we can do is grind it out. The habs showed us this period that they can still play even though they are getting beat up. 95% of that period was a pretty neutral period. That other 5% was kovys bullet!

I'm still very pissed about how fragile the system is though...they seriously need to fire the IT person who coded it and maintains it and get someone who has a clue what they are doing. No way should it be this quirky.
10 bucks says this system was designed and is being run straight out of India.

NO, it wasnt. That was offside that should have been blown down. the forwards that were coming off were still on the ice, waiting foor the door to be open.
