Although, I dont think management would be willing to swallow their ego and admit they made a massive mistake. Well guess what, how bad is your ego going to be bruised when we get knock out of the playoff by the ######ing florida panthers?!

Anybody seeing us signing Khabibulin this summer? We are actually lucky that we dont have these players stuck with us for 7 more years like all other teams deal out their contracts. That is one thing that Gainey has done well. We can actually start a rebuild this summer and use the youngsters we already have signed. Maybe we could sign one or two good UFA's this season from other teams.
Damn, I hate the "R" word...but I guess we have no choice. :puke:

I hope we go back with Price next game. Halak is not the future, why is everyone so short sighted wanting to win now, Price only let in one bad goal. Every game we seem to lay on the feet of Price and completely let the team off the hook.
That is the point of a playoff fight. You dont win now, you miss the playoffs...simple.

Oh, and why was Price given the start? Game vs NYR was iffy, typical Price: awesome saves, weak goals (not a knock on him, Roy was the same early). Hindsight is 20/20, but shouldnt it have been Halak's turn?
IMO Price shouldn't have started in the second. That way it would have given Halak time to warm up.

If we are going to lose anyway, why not make it 7-1 devils early in the 2nd so I dont have to ruin another one of my days free from work by sleeping.
If we intend on winning and making a game out of this then it would be nice for the team to actually get some offence at all and maybe more than 5 shots/period. And was it just me or is Gainey using the checking lines about as much as Carbo used to do?
That hard to do when you're in the damn penalty box for most of the period! :puke:
