I agree. We need to stop attacking him. He is a Leader. He's won a cup in Montreal before. And his play has been good. I say for everyone attending Game 5, everytime he touches the puck we cheer loud, give him a huge confidence boost. He is a true Montreal Canadien. And we should appreciate that. Too many people are remembering him from years past when our team was not that good and he took the majority of the blame for it. "Brise-Bois, Brise-Bois, Brise-Bois." Habs win 4-0. Two goals for Kovalev, one by Begin, and one by Higgins. They gotta end it tonight. I expect a game like that of Game 1.

Gotta agree that Brisbois has beeen good. Not great, but far above the expectations I had of him. Markov and Komisarek will get better. Komi is just coming back so I am sure he gets winded easily. But, obviously Hamrlik has been one of the best players on the ice in each game, not to mention our best defenseman. Get Koivu ready for Round 2, the Habs will be fine.

I gotta give some credit to Guy Carbs... I was screaming at the TV when I saw the mix up of lines... Kostopolous on the second for a bit, Pleks on the 4th for a bit... But it worked. He knew going into Boston we would have to beat them at their own game and we got a win. Good Job Coach. I wish the Habs could have played their style but it was a solid defensive effort and an OUTSTANDING performance by the next-great one! GO HABS GO... Bring on some flyers!

I agree about Ryder, he should be IN the lineup. I know he is struggling, but once he gets hot he could light it up. Our problem is we're playing Boston's game, not our own.

I do NOT like Latendresse with Higgins and Kosty, the line just is not gelling. Switch it up. Put the Kosty's with Higgins and then Put Lats with Pleks and Kovalev. Carbo has to do something to shake it up a bit!

Bruins have to be heart broken. Play their best period of the year and they are losing! I'm predicting a HUGE second for the Habs. Bruins are toast!

First... GO HABS GO! Second, I would love to see Stewart get a shot in game 2 or 3. I like the energy Begin and Kosty bring. Their toughness is a key part to the Habs success. I agree that it might be useful to see Dandy sit and give Stewy a shot. I know it was only one game against one of the worst teams in the league, but the kid looked good. The real reason I wrote... when Koivu comes back where does he play? Was it just me or was the Higgins - S.Kost - Ryder line SPECTACULAR in game 1? They were flying, lots of scoring opps. I don't see why you would break them up. Lines I'd like to see... The Kovy Line Higgins - S.Kost - Ryder Lats - Smoke - Stewart Begin - Lapierre - Kosty (This is my first post on HabsWorld, love the site, take it easy on me...)
