    I still don't see who can put the puck in the net for the Leafs. Play a strong defense and it's just a matter of time before our lightning offense strikes!

    Hagman, Grabs and Ponikarovsky are not completely useless... I think we've got em beat, but they can score.

    Leaf fans have once again convinced themselves that they are going to the playoffs. What is funny is that the top scorers from their preseason were mostly sent down all ready. Until Kessel shows up, I don't see many goal scorers on that team. Some of the Leaf fans I know seem to think that Komi will be lighting up the point.. ROFL

    That's funny considering my uncle has somehow decided that it is better to be a leafer at the moment because of the lack of pressure to make the playoffs. Has Komi been getting PP time for them? They don't have a ton of offense from their D...

    We were the hottest thing on ice not long ago. Last year Gainey iced an excellent squad, but Lang's and other serious setbacks shifted the weight of expectation onto the shoulders of a rookie kid goalie. POOF!

    I guess I'll be the contrarian and say Bob won't trade him. Sergei kinda destroyed (whatever remained of) his trade value when he demanded the trade. I think bob makes him some sort of tacit trade deadline promise - if he isn't on the active roster by the deadline, he'll get his trade.

    unless and until we see Plek, pacioretty, AK, and/or Latendresse show their ability to provide adequate secondary scoring I think it makes sense to throw one of the proven vets on the second line. I understand the logic of choosing to have one great line in lieu of 2 ok lines, but I'd at least try to put the team in a position to be a serious scoring threat for more than half the game.
