I think Begin has been great on the fourth. The perfect fourth line player.
Doesn't create that much but forechecks and disturbs the other team.
Keep Begin on the fourth! Don't split Dackell and Juneau. But if we do, I hope that we trade Dackell since the only player he seems to come along with on the ice is Juneau.

Just score us some goal for that kid and we will cheer just as much!
-
If we are short on forward why does Julien play Rivet? Wasn't Markov a forward in Russia?
-
Another Swede sticks in with a comment...
The Sundström issue is a really big problem.
He has the skill to play on one of the top two lines. But we don't have the space for him since we are using prospects on the top lines in ordes to give them sufficent ice time.
And if Sundström doesn't want to continue on the fourth line he has earn his spot.
This is Sundströms last year of his contract, right? I hope that we trade him soon. Since I don't see us re-signing him we might just trade him before he is an UFA.
There should be some value. After all he is a really good hockeyplayer. Maybe Vancouver or Colorado could be intrested?
And Kilger... I just can't stand him. Why doesn't he try to play?
Trade Traverse, Dykhuis, Dwyer, Sundström, Dackell, Kilger, Langdon (We would still have Begin and Blouin) for all the draft picks in 2005 so we can have Crosby!

My bets are on Perreault with the game winner.

Det var någon fråga som dom besvarade mellan tredje och andra...

Klart jag lyssnar!
Nämde de just Habsword?

-
Just tell me what to do to bring Lecavalier to Montreal!
-
I don't think he will dress Rivet as a forward again.
I think and hope that the lines will look something like this:
Zednik - Koivu - Ryder
Perreault - Ribeiro - Dagenais
Bulis - Juneau - Dackell
Sundström - Begin - Kilger
Let Bouillion take care of Eric Cole. I can't stand him. In my dreams I see Bouillion punch Cole so hard that they have to use the *pip* sound.

Just wanted to say that I think Brisebois has been one of our most solid players this season.
Sourray, Markov and Brisebois are doing fine in my eyes. I'm not a Rivet fan but I can understand that he's having an impact on the team in the locker room. Should be a third pairing defencemen.
Bouillion is the perfect 7th guy. Komisarek or Hainsey? Or both? I'm not sure...
Quintal is starting to get old. His speed isn't what it used to be. Maybe this will be his last season?
I'm pretty happy with our Defence. What we need to do is to dump some player. We have way to many of the same kind.

Maybe you're right.
But there's a gritty forward available and we need size up front. And if we at the same time could use Toronto as our salary dump...

The Fourth Period are reporting that Torontos Darcy Tucker is on the block.
I know that a trade with the Leafs are verry unlikley but wouldn't he be a nice fit for our team?
He's 28 years old and making 1.6 million dollars.
I would like to have Tucker back. Maybe if the price is right.
What about Kilger and Dykhuis?

Robert Dome is now playing for Södertälje SK in the Swedish Elitserien. Rumors are going around that Södertälje will sign at least one more NHL-player this week. They have earlier this season signed Lubomir Sekeras.
Kent Manderville is alos found in Elitserien. He's now playing with Timrå IK.
-
And who is Eric Gagne?
-
A fan of Marcus Nilsson. Cool.
Didn't knew that anyone outside Bålsta would give Mackan a notice.
-
Agree.
But you're a little hard on Quintal.
-
Audette has scored before.
And the last time he did was in Atlanta.
Maybe Atlanta would give it a try. Take a look at Czerkawski. If Atlanta could get the same deal they may consider it?
-
Bad timing. Audette is out and Atlanta is looking for a right winger.
If Audette was healthy i don't think it would be impossible to deal him to Atlanta. Pick up some salary and a verry late pick in return.

I thinkl that Sundström COULD be the ideal sollution on the second line.
All he has to do is to make it work with Perreault.
Perreault is a sniper. And defensive unreliable. Ribeiro is good a deliver passing but I don't know if he will ever run for the Selke Trophy.
Sundström is a skilled hockeyplayer. A role player. If Sundström could figure out how to play with Perreault and Ribs we would have a good line there.
But maybe he just doesn't like to play in Montreal? I hope that Sunström get things going. If he could play as good as I know he can he would have a spot on the second line 82 games per season.
-
Lindros? Why? Doesn't Canada want to win?
Here's my national team I would like to see.
Sundström - Forsberg - Näslund
Axelsson - Sundin - Alfredsson
Huselius - Zetterberg - Renberg
Holmström - Nylander - Modin
Jönsson
Öhlund - Lidström
Johnsson - Tärnström
Norström - Hävelid
Jönsson
Hedberg
Salo

TFP reported today that Canadiens are shoping for a goalscorer.
Rivet, Bouillion and Brisebois as bait.
Hope...

Everybody is talking about Juneau leaving the team soon. Why does everybody think that this is his last year as a habs?
From what I heard Juneau Dackell and Sundström had it going last night.
Perreault is scoring goals on a team that need goals.
Begin is a fourth liner. And he knows it. I don't think he will complaint about it. Leave him there.
Kilger are no good to us. Doesn't scare nor score.
Hossa is the most overpaid player on the whole team.
