And who is Eric Gagne?
-
A fan of Marcus Nilsson. Cool.
Didn't knew that anyone outside Bålsta would give Mackan a notice.
-
Agree.
But you're a little hard on Quintal.
-
Audette has scored before.
And the last time he did was in Atlanta.
Maybe Atlanta would give it a try. Take a look at Czerkawski. If Atlanta could get the same deal they may consider it?
-
Bad timing. Audette is out and Atlanta is looking for a right winger.
If Audette was healthy i don't think it would be impossible to deal him to Atlanta. Pick up some salary and a verry late pick in return.
-
I thinkl that Sundström COULD be the ideal sollution on the second line.
All he has to do is to make it work with Perreault.
Perreault is a sniper. And defensive unreliable. Ribeiro is good a deliver passing but I don't know if he will ever run for the Selke Trophy.
Sundström is a skilled hockeyplayer. A role player. If Sundström could figure out how to play with Perreault and Ribs we would have a good line there.
But maybe he just doesn't like to play in Montreal? I hope that Sunström get things going. If he could play as good as I know he can he would have a spot on the second line 82 games per season.
-
Lindros? Why? Doesn't Canada want to win?
Here's my national team I would like to see.
Sundström - Forsberg - Näslund
Axelsson - Sundin - Alfredsson
Huselius - Zetterberg - Renberg
Holmström - Nylander - Modin
Jönsson
Öhlund - Lidström
Johnsson - Tärnström
Norström - Hävelid
Jönsson
Hedberg
Salo
Liv

TFP reported today that Canadiens are shoping for a goalscorer.
Rivet, Bouillion and Brisebois as bait.
Hope...
-
Why?
I'm feeling like someone has fooled me big time. Why did we had a great start? The only thing that's left is disapointments.
Koivu, Ryder and Zednik had some show against Vancouver. But what was they doing last night? Did they think that the Nuck-performance was enough for this month?
Not a single shot from Koivu and -2 for the line...
-
Salo with the game-winner?
I tought it was Öhlund. At least that's what Swedish media are telling.
And after looking at the recap, it sure looks like Öhlund.
-
ooooppps
Zednik - Koivu - Ryder
Perreault - Ribeiro - Kilger
Bulis - Juneau - Dackell
Sundström - Begin - Audette
That is...
-
I'm the first one to admit it. I was wrong.
Now if Ryder, Koivu and Zednik can keep it up our first line is set.
So... Just give me Perreault and I'll be happy.
Zednik - Koivu - Ryder
Perreault - Ribeiro - Kilger
Bulis - Juneau - Dackell
Sundström - Begin - Sundström
-
Ryder - Koivu - Zednik
Kilger - Ribiero - Audette
Bulis - Juneau - Dackell
Langdon - Begin - Sundstrom
Hossa and Perreault in the box.
I'm sorry but I don't see us scoring a goal. Maybe the third och second line can give us a goal.
Theodore needs to shut the door in order to win.
And what if Koivu, Ryder and Zednik doesn't click? Then we have tried everything!
Perreault a scratch. You know I don't like it but Julien has to try something and if our offensive play doesn't work tonight I think something will happen.
By the way. Begin is becoming a personel favourite...
-
I would never say that Perreault is a better hockey player than Koivu. Im just liking him. But Koivu is way more talanted.
I'm just saying that Perreault is worth every nickel. Meanwhile to many players are not deserving their salary.
And I know Perreault is soft and useless some games. But everybody can't be Joe Thornton...
And that thing you said about keeping the best players is the way to build a team... I don't know if I agree.
I think that you have to keep players who fits the needs of the team. Not nessecerily the best.
I think Marius Czerkawski is a living proof of that. Talanted but not in favour of Montreal.
-
Well... Maybe that last post just had to much emotion in it.
Saku hasn't play well thus far. Neither has Zednik. And to be honest. I expect more.
And I have never said that Perreault is a franschise player. I just arguing that he is a perfect second liner that gives us 40 point a year. 40 point that we desperatly need.
Saku Koivu is always injuried and I can't remember a worse edition of the Montreal Canadiens since Saku Koivu came in.
The last time my favourite team was doing well in the playoffs Saku was in the hospital.
I don't really want to see Saku traded. But it would be nice to see new face on Canadiens cover-shots...
-
Creds to Habs! Or some habs...
What the fcuk are Zednik and Koivu doing?!
And as for Julien. What do you want from him? When the team is not playing well, something has to be done. Last time he was right about Dackell.
But I am really concerned about Zed and Saku. They are suppose to lead the team on scoring and as the capitain Saku should lead our team in many ways.
I'm getting to tired of Saku Koivu. Sometimes I feel that Montreals problem are due to him and a certain Mario Tremblay...
Everybody loves Saku (how can one not? They guy had cancer and came back, he is a highlight player and a nice person) But he is no good to Montreal.
If Roy was untouchable Koivu should be to...
We have the superstar goalie to build this team on but we need a player without a mask as well. And right now I don't feel that is Saku Koivu.
-
Begin is becoming a favourite...
The perfect 4th line player!
But what on earth are Koivu and Zednik doing?
-
1 single shot on goal by Koivu and -1. And not yet a single point from our beloved C.
3 shots by Zednik but he is not showing that he is out best goal scorer.
But Zednik on the bench and asign Koivu to the Bulldogs.
And by the way. Perreault had 7(!) shots on goal, and his line was the only line giving a goal.
-
I don't think of Yannic as a superstar. I'm just standing up for him.
But fact is that Perreault has the most game-winners. He is the BEST face-off guy in the leauge.
He has som problems with the physical play but so has many others.
Have anyone seen Niclas Lidström tackle? Didn't thinks so...
He's not a first line player but a perfect second liner.
And just the fact that he WANTS to play in Montreal for less money than he would have maked elsewhere makes him special.
-
Sigh...
What wrong? Everybody can't be big strong and tough.
Perreault wan't to play in Montreal. He's making 2.8 million dollars and has put up with some numbers.
Most game-winners and we know that we will get about 40 points.
And that's on a team that doesn't score many goals. And he is the best face-off guy in the whole NHL.
Audette? 3 million and perhaps 10 goals?
Hossa? 1.075 000 and he's our third best prosect?
Koivu? 4. 25 million and always injuried?
No wonder Montreal are doing bad when people don't want players who can win games for them...
-
Södertälje SSK is last in swedish Elitserien.
But today they anounced that Lubomir Sekeras will join the team.
-
But all players can't be big and tough. And if we don't have room for a 40 points per season player for 2.8 million I don't think we deserve to play in the playoffs.
-
Perrault was on the ice and The Fourth Period reported that Perrault wan't to stay in Montreal.
Many people says that Perreault and Juneau will be out of Montreal by next season. I don't.
Dackell and Sundström are the horses i bet my money on.
Read the article on The Fourth Period about Perreault...
-
Hossa and Dackell on the bench.
Perreault to play. Wheeeee!

Robert Dome is now playing for Södertälje SK in the Swedish Elitserien. Rumors are going around that Södertälje will sign at least one more NHL-player this week. They have earlier this season signed Lubomir Sekeras.
Kent Manderville is alos found in Elitserien. He's now playing with Timrå IK.
