    No the problem with Carey Price is that he blew the game by allowing a back breaker in the first period, had lousy rebound control which led to the second goal, and then put out a long clear during the PK to the opposite side where Metro was all alone. If Price had not let in that back breaker in the first period, was able to hit Metro with a good pass when he was all alone on the PK (rather then just clear the puck blindly away), we would have had a 1-0 lead. Then if he had learned how to control his rebounds better, the habs could have one the game 1-0.

    Obviously if Halak was in we would be watching the boys win it in a shootout right now.

    This is simply disgraceful. A good team does not allow 42 shots after 2 periods - never! Not when they're in a slump. Not when they have lots of injuries.

    No matter *what* we do in the 3rd, we don't deserve to win this game. And Martin better have a response in practice tomorrow, regardless of how that 3rd works out. I like the Herb Brooks mentality... if you didn't want to work in the game, you'll damn right work *now.*

    How many bag skates can he have this year? Seems like it's been one a week or close to it, since the season started.

    Sooner or later the players have got to get it. Don't they????

    This is embarrassing. They can't even dump it in correctly.

    I'm saddened. I came on here expecting a plethora of negative commentary about how Price should have saved those two shots. As Benoit "Brain of Bricks" Brunet said on the first, "Il doit etre plus combatif!" Right Benny. C'mere and let me high stick you in the throat and see if you can stay on your feet you waste of breath. --And this from the guy who makes Koivu look like an ironman.-- And for the second goal I was expecting people to say that it should have been an easy save had he had better positioning or followed the puck better some bunk like that.

    WHERE ARE ALL THE PRICE HATERS? You've ruined this game thread for me.

    Halak would have gotten the SO :ninja:
