Beauchemin Dipped back and forth, but on our club he would be a AHLer for life, He was always behind Bouillion, Komi and Hainsey. However I'll be cheering for him in Cbus I feel he can make their pro roster, probably the best thing that could ever happend to Beau!

I say interview them all if you can! But I guess more realistically try to interview Kosty, this whole situation must be very overwhelming for him, being on North American ice and all. Im not too sure how well he takes to interviews but it would be worth a shot!

Its ashame their won't be a season this fall because I believe Koivu is about to peak as an athlete this year. Two years ago when he came back from Cancer he jumped right in and led this team to a win against the Bruins in the post season, the next season he played in all 82 games the first time since his rookie season, last season he had a minor setback by getting injured but he came back and got 55 points in 68 games. And once again led us a underdog victory against the Bruins. Now he's led the Finnish team to their first ever World Cup finals. He just seems to be getting better and better. Let's just hope they settle this dispute so we can get on with the season.

This was surely a tough call for Gainey, It's a gamble for sure, He could have easily done a one year contract worth say 3.5/4 Million and if Souray had a bad season, they would have to re-negotiate. however if Gainey goes for the long term deal worth 3 Million a year, he's guaranteed to have Souray locked up if he continues to improve. Let's just hope he continues to stay healthy
