Hossa, Hainsey, Kilger (wasn't sather interested in him before) and a pick for Kovelov and Kasparitis...adds alot of salary though, but it does give rangers some young ones. Maybe Sather has a salary cap in his mind and will want to shed some salary, and Kovelov hasn't been producing as they would like. Kovalev is a pending UFA... no way does he fetch Hossa, and Hainsey...

This is really sad... But it also really effects the Habs. Montreal now has a really weak LD. Rivet (He's playing LD) Boulllion Dykhuis Thats not going to cut it VS the Leafs, Rags and Sens... I think we'll get a LD ASAP via trade.

Koivu and Ribs had a little run in with eachother this morning... with Saku jumping Ribs. CJ has taken our 2.85 team GAA from 2002-2003... and made it 2.28. We're letting in 0.57 goals per game less than last year... That's 47 goals total over 82 games, pretty amazing turn around. [Edited on 2004/2/17 by Habby1197]

Jason Ward and Dagenais will be sat out... and here are the new lines. Bulis-Koivu-Zednik Sundstrom-Ribs-Ryder Juneau-Begin-Dackell Langdon-Perreault-Kilger As for the D... it stays the same. Dykhuis, won't play.... I don't like Ward sitting... I think he should play instead of Kilger, but hey... that's just me.

From what I remember it was Bulis, Hainsey and a first rounder... Way too much for Nolan.

This guy tells me... Flames offered Iginla for Hainsey last year, and the Habs said no... and then get this... Countered with Ribeiro for Iginla and then the Flames said no. If this isn't the dumbest thing I have even heard, I dont know what is... I'm going to send him the thread, and let him see what you all had to say.

UPDATE... Since the game... habs are 20-10-5-1... Only 10 losses in 36 games. We're playing on pace of an 105 point season since...

I agree Puck, I only watch games on RDS... Yeah I'm english, but I understand french which is a plus, but even if I didn't I wouldn't watch TSN or Snet. Most biased pile of crap commentating I have ever heard.

Oh yeah, that wasn't Ribeiro keeping the team afloat offensively while Koivu missed the first month or two... next please. Well you're WRONG. In 14 games Ribs had 7 points which is ok... but not the pace he's at now. Also that included a 7 game pointless streak... And somehow Ribs picked it up right when Saku came back with points in 7 straight games. If there really were these so called problems, we wouldn't come out flying in games, and we wouldn't come back from 3-2 to the Pens or 2-0 to the Wild... I don't know what you're trying to get at, but every team has players that are closer with eachother... just because they don't go for dinner together doesn't mean they are at odd's. You think Chelios and Zetterberg hang out together? Is that locker room divided? Also, I think it's BS that Rivet went after Dags because he's french, I think it's more of him doing damage with his shot before, and basically being a rookie, yes... I know he's played 90 something NHL games, but he's basically a rookie and I could see a Vet having a problem with a new player. Also about Ribs... he was a 40pt guy before Koivu got back... He's been basically at a point per game since... How can you even say Saku has no effect on his play? Are you that blind? They compliment eachother... make eachother better. I don't believe this team has major problems in the room for a second, I don't think they are all best friends, but they would forsure go to war for eachother, and they are way, more together than last year. Who on the Habs that matters actually is french? Ribs Begin Quintal Briser Theo+Garon 6 guys thats it.. I'm not counting Dags, Perreualt and Juneau... not important pieces of the team As for Ribs, I think he's a likeable guy on the team. Begin, same for him... no one can have a problem with him. Quintal, same thing... will stand up for anyone. Briser too, he's got nothing against Saku or any other english players. As for the Goalies, I dont see a problem there either. This team ISN'T divided, and if it was, we wouldn't be 7 games over .500 no ######ing way. Souray and Quintal.... is that a clique? I saw them together at the Seinfeld concert two years ago.

Fights happen in practice... it's not a french VS english thing come on. Garth Snow VS Oleg Kvasha, explain that one? Zednik and Dykhuis? Dykhuis does't like Slovakian's? Give me a break... Koivu and Ribs seem to get along just fine, Koivu loves that he finally has another centre on the team that create something and not everything is on his shoulders... and he doesn't have to try and do too much. I'll tell you one thing, Ribeiro would not have the season he is having if it wasn't for Koivu. You think if Ribs and Perreault were our two top centres, Ribs would have that many points? Not a chance in hell.... I see those guys feeding off eachother... Dags took a shot and hit rivet in the ankle... hurt him. Rivet got pissed off and charged Dags, the two had a mini fight and was broken up by teamates. Souray gone for game... and I think he could be suspended too. Didn't stop beating Focht when he was down and out. This game could end up being a nightmare.

Pens tied it at 2.... Habs playing stupid selfish hockey, Sunday all over again, Pretty sad.

One more thing... look for Dykhuis to play a great game Tuesdsay... He isn't ready for his NHL career to be over, and will go all out tomorrow. He doesn't care if it's with the Habs or another team, but you can be sure of what league he rather be in.

Very sketchy call up on Gainey's part, and here is why. At the start of the year we had 8 D-men... Our top 8. Souray Brisebois Markov Rivet Boullion Quintal Hainsey Komisarek Dykhuis was clearly behind Hainsey and I'm sure he still is. Even though Karl has been good in the AHL, Hainsey has been as good, and if not better. This move is a forsure showcase of Dykhuis for a minor trade maybe a package of Perreault + Dykhuis... but something is up forsure. I bet Komisarek was given an explaination for this move...
