Ok so I have a buddy that is 100% sure he wants to play ... I got him set up with the game and he's been playing a bit. He's one of the few friends I have that I think would be good at the game and want to stay for a long time like myself
I'll be at his place on Sunday so I'll get him to register here so we can get him set up ... he's already asked about taking over Dallas, which A) is a solid team for a newbie and still needs a little work, and B) keeps him in the West since he's my friend. I had talked to BTH about this a few weeks back, I just didn't get over there to get him set up on the game. I wanted him to see and play it first to see if he liked it ... which he's stoked about it

4-3 Loss vs Minny ... the team tried to come back but fell short.
3-2 Win vs Philly ... Nash with a couple of goal
3-1 Loss vs NYR ... 2nd game in a back to back showed ... no one really played a good game.

Detroit also goes 1-2

6-4 Win vs MTL
4-0 Loss vs CBS ... not too happy about this one

I'm hoping to get back to the playoffs with the Bolts and cause some more havoic
And how ever long I'm keeping an eye on Detroit ... I think I can get them into the playoffs as well that would be a pretty big feet in it's own since it's been almost a HWL decade since that team was in the playoffs.

Well I said a couple days ago I couldn't get tonights since it's my sisters birthday but seeing how dinner and everything is done and everyone left, I can do it now.
In regards to the season, Seb, you said you could get most Wednesdays? I can probably get most Sundays. So if it's you and me with Fanpuck and revv as back-up guys in case one of us can't get it, would that work for everyone?
Jets if you'd like to one time during the season show me how to do sim, which I think I would have most of it down already. I could also be available on an emergency basis or when I'm free on either night to help out

Solid sim for both Tampa and Detroit ... I think I've almost got all the house cleaning done in Detroit
... I'll keep sending in lines until we can find a new GM for them and I'll handle the waiver list for them as well as Tampa's in the next couple days. -

So can Zetterberg be put on a one year deal ? I have a deal ready for him that in my tests he's signs so A) this whole thing can be put to rest and B) I can use him in the line up for tonight's sim

I'd be willing to learn how to do it ... not sure how much simming I could do though ... cause I usually work until 8pst on Wednesdays and I usually have evening hockey games on Sundays ... but I could get a sim in here and there if neither of those things come up.

1-1 sim for Tampa ... team played well in both games with about a half and half of young nhl players and rookies.
0-2 sim for Detroit ... not a fun game against the defending champs
So far the house cleaning in Detroit is going well ... still have a bunch of work to do.
Jets ... I see you put Zetterberg on the team but because his contract is still 0 he won't resign cause he still thinks he's a free agent ... you'll have to give him one year ... so I can resign him ... unless he says he doesn't want to play for Detroit then we'll have to see how to go from there.

Fanpuck ... if you can just get him on the team with a 1yr deal ... i'll resign him for a multi year deal once he's on the team
