  1. Eric Belanger: I got him in the Waiver Draft from New Jersey, But now i can't afford him i would like him to be sent back to New Jersey.

Somoene told me its possible this can be done if so i would like it to be done thanks.

That would only work if NJ want's him back .. if he doesn't he'll be a normal waiver type player. He'll be sent to you fram team if no one claims him.

  2. Just don't injure my young guys...or I'll set Kojevnikov on you!

    You mean Primadonakov ? ^_^

That's because I have it. But be happy mahn, if you had the 1st round pick, you wouldn't have Gonchar!

I don't have one either thanks to that hippie guy ! he got blazed and traded them all away ! ^_^

  3. My team needed some goal scoring Viagra :o

... I also want these three goalies tested for steroids !

Loss 4-0 to NJ Cloutier 10 rating

Lost 4-0 to Philly Price 10 rating

Lost 4-1 to St Louis Schwarz 9 rating

Time for the rebound ! got to get the whole South East back in the playoff picture B)

  4. Lats is not really doing that great on the first line. He is doing okay, but he does not make the line better. I would put him on the 2nd line and move Sammy up, to see if that works for a game or so. Lats might help the second line more then the first, since they need someone who will shoot and go in the corners.

Once Higgins is back in game shape, then move Sammy back to the 2nd.

Personally, I don't think Sammy is going to break out until he has a decent center to play with.

I like the idea of Lats , Koivu , Kovy on one line because Koivu and Lats seem to be playing well together and Koivu is very responsible defensively ... Kovy is well Kovy .. hopefully he can get jump started and get some great shots off with Lats in front.

the "other" line of Sammy , Higgins , Ryder would hopefully get Sammy jump started by having two really good shooters on his line he can feed the puck too and make simple plays. Maybe it would get Ryder to be more consitant as well

I think the problem with the Sammy , Pleck , Kovy line is they try way to hard to be to complicated ... way to much east/west and not enough north/south ... if they stay together they need to make things a little more simple until they start to click, and then try the hard/cute crap that they're doing now.

I am in the camp that believes Plekenec is a problem on the second line....the guy just can't finish.

It saddens me to say that Plecks might be becoming a Bulis type ... wants to be offensive but just can't bury the puck consitantly ... with perezhogin doing so well on the 3rd line plecks might become expendable or packaged for an upgrade somewhere. I just can't see him on the 4th line or that type of player.

  5. Tampa Bay has a line violation. The rules specify that you must have at least 60 seconds of line time that isn't Hit and Grind or Neutral Zone Trap. In your case, you just have Dump and Chase at 40 seconds with the rest being Hit and Grind (1 line) and Neutral Zone Trap (2 lines).

:nono: sorry ... either A ) I read it and forgot about it or B ) didn't read that ... I will fix and not let it happen again :D

just in case .. if I up the 40 D&C to 60 would I be in the clear ? ^_^

  6. Looking for an upgrade on Matthew Lombardi 81-75-79 ... 79CON .... looking to gain more offense and sacrifice a little defense. Must be a center with decent faceoffs.

    Available

    C/LW Jan Bulis 75of 73df 75ov 83 CON !! Two-way forward

Looking to get as high a pick as I can or a AHL caliber defense prospect.

  7. Two of the three will be resigned.

I expect Markov will resign. Gainey will make that a priority and I don't see any major reason why he would go elsewhere.

If Souray want to be closer to his daughter he won't be back. Probably if that's the case Gainey will trade him arund the deadline. Souray has said he loves it here but if you listen carefully he is careful not to give the impression he is going to resign.

If Souray (or Markov) doesn't resign then I think Rivet will for something like 1.8 million. But if we resign both Souray and Markov then I don't think (apologies to Maca) that we can also afford Rivet. Too many young guys will be looking for raises and Gainey will want some cap room in case he wants to make a push for the cup in February '08.

I don't think Gainey would trade Souray even if he publicly states he's not going to re-sign .. especially if the habs are in playoff contention.

  9. I don't mind GM's switching teams ... as long as it's not obvious that they've destroyed there team and are looking for a way out. We could just hold a vote and if everyone's kool with it or a big majority then why not.

btw ... BigRedC want to switch teams ? ^_^

  10. 1. :hlogo:

    2. Kings ( Hometown team ) ( Kopitar is awesome )

    3. Blackhawks ( yet they disappoint every year )

  11. Do you think Souray straight up for Visnovsky would be reasonable then? Did I overrate him when I added Ryder or a prospect?

Visnovsky will never replace Souray's toughness and leadership...but he can cover the points on the powerplay, he is way more mobile than Souray, and he, I think, is signed for another year at just under 2 million.

Why would the Kings want Souray ??? :?- ... they're not going to make the playoffs so why would they trade Visnovsky for someone who's an UFA after the season ?? I'm sure they'd want a few picks thrown in there as well

  12. by my count that would be 2 wins, 1 loss and 2 ties for Carolina.

the Canes are still upset at the TB organizations refusal to embrace SE division dominance last playoffs when Maca rooted for MTL & CBS. :nono:

Ok never said I could read ! I guess I'll have to hire McSorely as a coach so he can teach my sally's how to fight.

    btw

    Go Southeast Go ! :D

as long as I finish first ! haha

  13. Nothing like playing a division rival in two consecutive pre-season games, splitting them, and having a good ole on ice brawl !

this is from the second game with 3 minutes left to play ! I don't think that even though the real John Tortorella got thrown out of the game against the rangers. that he had anything to do with this !

I lost the game but at least I won 3 out of the 5 fights :P
