1-1 Tie vs NJ ... so not happy with this ... Harding played out of his skull with 39 saves
4-3 Win vs CAR ... OT win !! .... still a 1 point lead in the SE
6-3 Win vs NYR ... Team played well on the 2nd game of a back to back and keep the slumping Rangers slumping
I'm so clinging on to the SE division lead and 2nd in the East but then again I'm only 4 points from 10th !

2-0-1 sim for the Bolts ... now 3rd in the east and leading the mighty South East ! :ninja: :ninja:
5-4 Loss vs Buff .... for some reason I always have trouble with these guys ... had the lead then blew it
6-1 Win vs Bos ... at least the team came back on the 2nd game of the back to back and redeemed themselves
4-1 Win vs NYI ... 2-3 on the power play can go a long way to chasing the starting netminder
Overall happy with the sim ... two solid wins against playoff teams in the East and happy to get a point against Buffalo but that's a game at home the team should have taken.

4-2 Win vs PHI ... solid game from the 3rd line helps Ray Emery notch his first win of the season in his first game
4-3 Loss vs STL ... Not happy about this one ... had a 3-1 lead and the team blew it
5-2 Win vs CAR ... Very solid game all around ... and nothing like a nice brawl to get the rivalry going early in the season
Loving the fact Denis Gervais is developing like a champ now ... up 5 OFF in 11 games !
Venom go 3-0 this week .. Ziffzer with 1 goal against + 2 shutouts in those 3 games

That sucks, RROD's seem to happen as soon as you get a good game. My friend got a RROD the same day Gears of War 2 came out. It was the same day we went out for a friends birthday so I spent the whole day making fun of him. Telling him how awesome it will be to go home and play Gears of War all weekend and how much we'll play online without him. It was fun.
Of course mine died a couple weeks later right after L4D came out. So, you know, karma.
Yeah my last box died about this time last year ... but I think it was before NHL09 came out though.

4-4 Tie vs ANH ... had a 3-0 lead, almost blew it completely ... Vermette with 1g 3a
4-2 Loss vs Buff ... 2nd game on a back to back ... again too many penalties.

Got NHL 10 yesterday ... had today off ... played a bunch ... xbox died an hour ago
... E74 red ring of hardware death. Thankfully I have got the Best Buy Warranty -

5-4 Loss vs NSH ... OT loss which is disappointing cause the team had the lead until the last minute
4-2 Win vs PIT ... Solid win for the Bolts ... Kruch with a two goal game
3-0 sim for the Venom with 2 shutouts

You were the first GM I negotiatied with and traded with when I started here ... I don't think there could have been a better one to get that expirence from.

I don't see why we would need a cap during the off season ... UFA doesn't start until the new season anyways so it's not like teams can bid themselves way over the cap then figure a way out by the start of the season ... all GM's are pretty much doing in the off season is getting players re-signed and making trades. Now I do think the cap should stay in effect until the Finals are over, then there is no cap until the start of the new season. Teams must be under the cap on Day 1 or get hit with a violation.
The other way is to do what dallas did and buy out his retiering players so he could resign Theo and stay under the cap and his teams own budget.

TOs and POs count as 1 year each on a contract and you can't have more then 4 years on a contract. Stop offering 3 years plus a TO and PO because those are illegal.

It sucks to give up Darzins cause he's been on the team since I started here and is the last player on the team that Maca drafted ... But I feel Nokelainen is an upgrade and better defensively , better PK'r ... and will slide right into Darzins spot
