Fanpuck, Goalie, Brian,
Guys, you CANNOT set up a draft date this sunday if you haven't completed the lists.
I have a family brunch tommorow and would like to send a proxy list. In order to do so, i have to know who will be available.
A draft tommorow doesn't make sense! I hope you've changed your mind. I'm sure i'm not alone in such a situation.

-Mentionned "change of philosophy".
-Mentionned PG fired and not Martin fired.
-Prior to the firing (and prior to game vs Florida) Cole was not used on PP to everyone's surprise and discontent.
-PP didn't produce and was main factor in Habs loss (face it, if it's main factor in our wins in the last 4 seasons, it's also main factor in our losses if it doesn't work)
-Pearn was responsible of the PP
What it tells :
PG and maybe other asst-coach(es) were in disagreement with Pearn over his PP strategy.
PP was not working and PG must have said something, maybe put forth an "opinion". Pearn must not have followed that "opinion".
Former "philosophy" was that GM wouldn't interfere with coaching (bold guess). Gainey always said that.
New philosophy is : I tell you put Cole on PP, you're gonna put Cole on PP or you GTFO (bold guess). aka GM knows best.

wussup?

Weber actually is pretty good at forward. I think he's easily one of our 12 best forwards in a healthy situation.
sad but true.
btw. Streit is -6 in his last 2 games.
-
What she said.
i concur.

better move than it looks.
Blunden was good in preseason and is tough.
Peteri has some "upside" which we can't say about Engqvist.
Those two together means that we can "match" the opposition 4th line for some seconds (and not lose blatantly at the puck drop and have to run away to the bench right away)
cause seriously, it might look "not a big deal"... but we were totally outmatched when it came to 4th line on Saturday. So if we start by this, well, it's at least a "start"...
next move, JACQUES MARTIN STOP BEING STUPID YOU STUPID!

TO ANA
OTT 2018 1st and a CBS 2017 3rd
TO OTT
Shattenkirk (74) and ANA 2018 2nd
Wanted a 1st, finally got it. Watch for David B to now become interested in Shattenkirk now that he's left my team. (classic, *rolleyes*)

Simmer's Notes: Ottawa - Didn't input your lines this time, you got to start sending them in normally now. Can't just write them out manually.
Hopefully theres nothing wrong with the file, fingers crossed
anyone told him how?

Welcome.
+1

trade with me now!
-
Just a heads up for anyone facing Winnipeg. We don't have prospects so it will be a pretty much full NHL line up. I will plug some AHLers in though.
For anyone facing Anaheim, I don't intend to kill my 50oa prospects playing them against your 99hitting HG line, so prepare to die instead.
-
I'm not a NHL GM, but ?%$*?&*&*(&*(
I was not in support of re-signing Wiz at the price he was asking....
however, with hindsight :
Wiz$ = Gill $ + Spacek $
Our D with Wiz & Subban as QB and trading guys like Weber and Diaz for some meat around the bone (I dunno, like O'byrne back... no names in mind, just speculative example) for stability and thoughness...
and if you wanna keep Gill, just give him an asst-coach job.
-
I am sad that it switched
I am on HW many times a day now I need to open another tab lol
Will we still deal in trades by messaging on HW?
it was last year, we just switched back to HW.

FYI guys, I downloaded with panick the last sim yesterday. I was 99% sure I didn't qualify some of my guys. (apparently I did in a zombie moment)
-
Wow, only losing Cheechoo. Most times I simmed ahead it was him, MABerge & Leopold. I'll take it.
My elder, Jerabek, 28 y.o., doesn't retire either. Wow, what a relief.
-
We all know how this will end up - some will be in favor of saying the GM should live with the consequences, but are torn because it will pretty much ruin a team and the GM could likely quit (as has happened in the past with people like Seth). The league will decide to let Boston keep the players because even though the GM really should be punished somehow, it's not in the league's best interest to let a team die like this.
this.
however, young padawan boston should take it as a learning experience. never procrastinate...
-
I'm not happy with Deharnais, D'arche. I guess I won't be too happy with Palush either.
Bring on Eller and White! those are hockey players
-
incomparable avec brunet. il sonne beaucoup plus professionnel.
par contre, personne n'égale Dany Dubé.

5 lists missing + Toronto's need to be completed.
Draft Sunday would be irresponsible and unrespectul to gms who are busy on this Sunday.
