on topic: I think that getting enough GM's around will be the deciding factor. If enough show up (me included - life has been busy - started a new job as a teacher) then you can do the fast paced trade heavy draft that would be fun. If not enough people show up, it will be the slower paced affair that will give the rest time to know what is going on.

I think most people tend to go for the longer 1st round. But when you look at it, the 2nd round contains players who are almost as good as some 1st rounders.
So instead of dragging the 1st round for long; we could have both the 1st & 2nd round together on the same day. 60 picks. 5 mins per pick = 5 hours total. You dont have to stay for the entire deal. You can pick, wheel & deal, leave, and come back an hour or two later for your next pick if you want to.
