Disregard the numbers in the Team Info pages, use the numbers in the Finances tab.

    Perfect, thanks man. :D

He forgot you because, really, you are not that important. :P

:-^I think he did it so no one else could call about Havlat. :D

I would go with the former, me being too smart for you!:-^

If you get under it before going back over, it's legal until the deadline. But if you're already over it, you can't add more to your payroll.

Does this too mean that my hands are tied, i think i might be over but i'm not sure. :guru:

    Chicago confirms.

I have loads of depth in the farm and Moen was down there on the 4th line. Not a bad thing in itself, but he was expandable. I get Tuomo's brother. Maybe Tuomo will re-sign for less now. :P

Mikko thanked me on his way out and said, "my brother will re-sign for anything as long as we play on the same line."

  7. To Ottawa:

    Travis Moen (22) $425 000/1 year/2way 55 - 55 - 61

    To Chicago

    Mikko Ruutu (26) no contract/ 32 - 44 - 49

Since there has been little progress with Ruutu the Sens are glad to see him go and further address their current AHL needs at the forward position. Signed, sealed and delivered!!!!!!

  8. :contract: CONFIRMED

With excess defensemen in Binghamton we feel that Platil could go to bring us some much needed help on the left side. Artyukhin is now a righty with what could be a tremendous future with our club, he will be switched to the left side.

David I need you to name an injury replacement for Jagr.

    Brian

L-Jaromir Jagr of the Boston Bruins has been replaced by L-Simon Gagne of the Philadelphia Flyers.

Decision was made on these facts :

    A. Gagne is the next highest scoring left winger.

    B. Gagne is the highest scorer on the Flyers who are near the lead in the East.

    C. No Flyers were previously named to the team.

    DB:clap:

Sorry I already sent in my lines for the East. Looking forward to showing up the 'screamer'.

After going 7-1-0-2 over their last 10 games and leaping into the overall NHL lead, things were all smiles today in Kanata where the Senators were holding a press conference introducing the newest member of the team Trevor Letowski. Letowski was aquired earlier this week along with defenseman Sascha Goc from the Columbus Blue Jackets in return for oft disgruntled forward Peter Schaefer. With this move General Manager David B said, "this is very well could be the lineup we see come opening night of the playoffs." I, along with most Sens fans have been waiting anxiously for the GM to announce a blockbuster deal that would help bolster an already impressive lineup for a long run in the playoffs.

With the strong progress of youngsters like Antione Vermette and Anton Volchenkov and the recent signings of Vermette, Marian Hossa and Martin Havlat, Mr. B looks to be securing the future while star centre Jason Spezza remains without a contract for next season. When asked about the Spezza situation all David said was, "we've qualified Jason and are working feverishly with his agent to locking him up long term." All these moves are very good looking down the road for the Senators but, what about this year? The Senators, in this scribes opinion have one of, if not the best defense in the league but lack a top second line centre to compete with the likes of Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, Philadephia and Montreal as the post season draws closer.

While Letowski will jump into the lineup right away between Chris Neil and Josh Langfeld, Goc will be adding some much needed depth on the blueline in Binghamton.

With the trade deadline just over two weeks away we will have to wait patiently to see if Mr. B is done tinkering with his lineup. When asked of the possiblity of more moves in the next while, B said, "I don't want to sacrifice our future when in my opinion we already have a very strong team here that can go deep into the playoffs." Please David, don't tell us that Trevor Letowski is the missing ingredient for a date with Lord Stanley this spring?

  14. It's nonsense for sure if Sascha Goc isn't rated higher.;)

Seriously though it has got to be tough to constantly update players skill level and potential to make it as real as possible. But on the other hand look at Ron Hainsey, he is rated higher in ehm because he was a highly rated propect that just hasn't turned out in real life. Almost impossible to see such things and just as in real life it is part of the game. You just don't know how guys are going to turn out soley based on their junior/college careers. Keep up the good work fellas.:/)
