IMO, even if there is a reboot it will take about 2 - 3 seasons MAX to have an imbalance again due to a) one-sided trades which seem the norm in the last couple seasons b) GM's not showing at the draft and getting the next CSB player c) bad drafting in general and I'm sure there are other ways that it will happen that slipped my mind.
Diclaimer - I have not read this topic at all and may have repeated somethings and for that I apologize.

This is a joke right?

I thought of a way better USA fan picture.
I know they don't matter at all but I had to change it. I had to.
Excellent work Gary!

It's actually pronouced "Dav-eed" There now it sounds more french.

As the temporary GM in Montreal I am disgusted that you did not consider the best possible team in your Olympics. Team Quebec would have won easily

Oh yes there will be a trade block coming once Mr Gauthier removes his head from his provervbial ass. Je t'aime Francois Gagnon.

AVAILABLE
Rick Dipietro - (35 not retiring) experienced former Cup winning Goaltender. He's yours this year and next for sure.
Marek Svatos - (34 not retiring) if you need veteran offense and defensively responsible
Adam McQuaid ($1.8M x 2 years + TO) - Dman with a Cup ring. Best pick gets him.
Chris Lawrence - some depth offense available for a draft pick
NEEDS
Draft picks
Considering an upgrade on D.

Can I get an update for Vancouver. I've got my laptop back but just can't get EHM running on Windows 7..

What he said.

I'm at my wits end with my team and have no clue at all how to get them turned around and winning the odd game. Like seriously I just got whooped by Columbus. Really Columbus. I'm not kidding ...... Columbus

Vancouver places a claim.

This is easily the best deal that Gauthier had made since he has taken the GM role full-time. It could very well be his last.
and I too think you should probably leave the captaincy out of this good news Brian.

And I lose my baby. I missed the development part of the game since my team hit maturity. I'll have to pick up another bottom feeder.
Vancouver?

I may have been one of the only GM's to send lines but I'll take the 7 of 8 possible points.
Leaders this sim:
Ben Maxwell - 2 goals & 9 assists (3rd in league points with 45)
Trevor Lewis - 3 goals & 3 assists
Kyle Turris - 3 goals & 5 assists
Can I return those picks for him !
I'm really kicking myself over that haha
Yeah I'm very happy with the outcome of that one along with the other recent deals I've made. The new players have been my best players for a couple sims now. You can have Maxwell back for your 1st if you really want him

Good enough result for the ever changing Canucks. 2 road wins and 1 home loss.
New players are performing well:
Kyle Turris - 3 points in the 3 games including the GWG in both wins
Trevor Lewis - 3 assists this sim & 23 pts in the 25 games with Vancouver
Erik Karlsson - 2 assists this sim and & 4 in his 8 games with his new club.
-
Seriously, I just noticed his totals after this sim. That's ridiculous.
Yep it looks like Sidney performs much better without revvvrob running things in Carolina.
-
I think I'm becoming Even Steven, yet another .500 sim. 1-1-1 and as expected my young, weak goalie did not like the 2nd game on back to back nights. Looking forward to better results in the future once I get my lineup settled.
-
Oh, oh. I don't think that Shiganosuke was very happy for the SJ game. Oh well, time to open the sim and see the results. Thanks jets.

Updated to remove Vanek and put Koivu back on the block. I'm looking for a similar but obviously not as good of return as Vanek.

I'd love to get revvvrob's non-partisan view on the latest Carolina trade. Heck let's ask him to act as the TC on that deal.
