Vancouver sucks, complete NJ style rebuild after tonight's sim.
Gaborik for a 2nd? Anyone?
-
which one does Bufallo get? Sauer or Ruzicka.
just want to know so I can send my lines in either with or without Ruzicka

Is New Jersey empty?
If so, I'd happily help out there. They could use a GM picking scraps off the waiver wire.
I sure hope NJ is vacant. Heck they would have been better off vacant last season too.

This one is COMPLETELY unacceptable IMO. Such commitment to the great rebuild. Looks like it is turning out exactly as most anticipated with NJ. Destroy it and walk away LONG before the team is turned around. Truly sad. Regardless of how many teams are missing GM's this GM does not deserve a spot in our league IMO (again)

For the last 6 or 7 weeks I've been working on an EHM league management tool, completely programmed in ASP.NET in VB. It's coming around now, and pretty soon I'm going to buy some hosting and put in online. The idea is that you upload the league zip file, then all GMs can sign in make whatever changes they want, including lines, position changes, contract offers (to their own players), status changes, training, anything, then the simmer logs on, clicks output, and it spits out a new zip file. The simmer sims (has hardly anything to input), zips and uploads. That upload automatically updates the site, and is available for any GM to download.
I've got the zipping and unzipping functions done, the data input from the uploaded sim file is working, some of the ouputting (making sure every single space is where it needs to be) isn't quite done yet, but almost; the security system (i.e. signing, profiles, inbox, forum, restrcitions on non-simmers etc.) is still a work in progress (doing it last because it's a pain to test everything else when the whole site is completely secure.)
And yeah, I'm pumped. I want it to be able to handle multiple leagues, so it'll be worth my while.
Tonight I made the Scores & Schedule page, which essentially is a big calendar which shows a month at a time, with all the games of each day on it. You can go from month to month with ease (doesn't even reload the page, I love AJAX).
So yeah, I'll be looking for volunteers to help beta testing pretty soon.
Just had to get this out, because knowing that the way we sim is going to be outdated soon is a good feeling!
WOW, that's outstanding, and to think Alex can't find the time to post his protected/unprotected list

Thanks, I figured I'd wait a while so I didn't get into bidding wars.
