Aye
I won't use the S-word anymore.
Been around for 5 months now, participated in a lot of these threads, never saw mention of the S-word before.
Oh well, now i know.
:hlogo:
No, I'm sorry. I should have been more specific. I type quick and have had some pops and figured everyone in the universe would mysteriously understand what I meant.
Go Habs

What'd i do, what'd i do?
Don't tell me you guys are supersticious?

10 minutes until a Huet shut-out and a Habs win!

Are you a leaf fan?
I'll explain later

Streit has got to be more on target!

Streit has a laser shot. I love the way his stick bends. But, where's the accuracy?
C'mon Streit!

I'm not too worried that Komi is gone. It sucks but, "whadda ya gonna do?"
Thank you Gainey. Dressing 7 D has many advantages. Markov, Souray, Rivet, Dandenault, Simpson & Streit should be able to get the job done against the Isles.
The Habs are still angry about last wednesday and want to exact some revenge :hlogo: We aren't done scoring yet! :hlogo:

Welcome to HW twilight. Yeah we're all over the world (I'm in Tokyo) posters with TV generally will make the descriptions but sometimes we have to nudge them a little - nudge.
how did we get 5 mins? Did Komi get a game misconduct as well?
I'd help but I'm a radio slave myself.

So calm. So smooth! What a goalie.

Here's a big "KNOCK ON WOOD" that my avatar remains the same for a LONG TIME!

Rivet is like Sean Hill when he played for Montreal.
-
Streit is #8. Teases you every once in a while, but has not been that impressive.
Streit has a laser shot. I love the way his stick bends. But, where's the accuracy?

The Great thing for the leafs is with Allison out they will save about 1.44 million in bonouses on thier cap next season.
Has anyone seen the TSN article entitled, 'What went wrong with the Maple Leafs?'?
It says, 'The Leafs, not counting any of their AHL prospects, only have 10 players under contract for next season, which gives Ferguson some flexibility in rebuilding his club.'
TSN is obviously trying to calm T.O. fans with this drivel. They make it sound like Toronto has an excellent cap situation. They don't. Silly TSN.
Anyone who doesn't believe me, I say this. Get their numbers and a calculator. It'll become clear very quickly.

I've been secretly wanting that to happen ever since they beat us and were all cocky about it. Hasek saying it was his easiest shut out and crap. The team betting on the bench they would keep us under ten shots.
boy oh boy that would be a good show-down. I could live with that being a first round match-up.
Let's see when should I book my flight.......for the parade that is.hehehehe
They call them the scary Sens. Too bad someone forgot to mention rule number 1: CANADIENS!
It's the HABS! nuff said :hlogo:
Make no mistake as I say it with disdain for Carolina. We'll screw em like we did with 1st place Boston!

If it does work she could charge habs fans to call and make it a business. The more calls the better. Especially if it works for all callers. Let us know how this goes.

Bouillon reminds me of Don Sweeney from Bruins lore. Small physical D who had good mobility and could move the puck well even though he wasn't getting huge offensive stats.
Guys like that can be tough to play against for forwards. Low center of gravity, comes at you fast, hard to forecheck when on the go. Bouillon is a great asset to the team.
Well said. :hlogo:

Bouillon is such an overrated player in Montreal; he's the guy you want to see suceeed, the underdog who has to work harder than anyone else because just to even stay in the lineup.
What? Bouillon has been described by many analysts and TSN as the best bargain in the league.

I think Gainey made this move to alter the atmosphere in the locker room as much as anything else.
Yeah, now the Ribeiro, Dagenais & Theodore cliche has been broken. Ribs is now all by himself

This is assuming that CAPTAIN KIRK is coming next year:
Not on topic but I want to bring a smile to my face and also remind you people of what is and will be THE BEST staff in the League:
GM: Bob Gainey.
Assistant: Andre Savard.
Chief Scout: Pierre Gauthier.
Player Personnel: Trevor Timmons.
Head Coach: Guy Carbonneau.
Associate: Doug Jarvis.
Associate: Kirk Muller.
Associate: Roland Melanson.

I hope all in the house realize that a victory against the Isles means we can generally cruise into the playoffs. Based on a 91 point fall off from years past to qualify in the east, Montreal will have to win 5 of their remaining 10 if they beat NYI.
That's it - all we really have to accomplish is .5
Now, I suspect we may need more than 91 points, but considering the .5 magic number, we are getting very close to a "comfort zone".
Go Habs. :hlogo:
