huet seems to be a good goalie...he actually was no 1 in L.A. before the trade...when chechmanek was underacheiving...if luongo refuses florida's offer, look for theodore been traded and huet doning the job until roberto's sign in mtl this summer.
anyway, can,t wait to see what gainey has to say

I don't think montreal is looking for scoring...we've been doing good the last few games. what he's probably looking for is a solid d man and grit up front..

Bad trade. First of all we have to be 100% confident in Plekanec to be our #2 center.
jan bulis as been quite good on the second line, he can do the job until plek is back

calder'S only 5,10 176lbs and keith is 6,2 200
both players are hard workers...I'd take them in a hurry.
i'm sure we'd also save on salary

Emelin is a good D man, I'm sure he'll play in mtl in few years. hope to see him in hamilton next year

I also have a problem undertsanding why coté is being recalled.
maybe there's an injury with one of our D that we don't know.
as for perezhogin, I think he's gone in hamilton only to get quality ice time and regain is confindence.

as we all know, streit as to play a minimum 30 games in the Nhl or montreal as to pay his swiss team something like 1.5M
we also know that streit is not NHL caliber. or so I say.
now streit's GP is up to 25 so only five left before the 30GP.
what do you think will be done after.

we already have goal scoring, now we need guys who will get in the face of other team's star players like sundin kovalchuck, spezza.

a guy like keith carney wouldn't probaly cost too much and would give some slack to souray and komisarek in order for them to regain confidence

Yes, I hear that Bob is in the final steps of working out a four-player deal with Washington and Vancouver.
1) Bulis & Zednik to Washington for Dainius Zubrus.
2) Washington will send Brendan Witt to Vancouver in return for Trevor Linden.
3) Washington will send Linden to Montreal in order to complete the deal... (f6)

they need a bonafide left winger to play on the second wing: higgins' not ready, bulis doesn't get anything happend and dagenais..no comments
What they need to, is players who can get the puck from the corners -
I canT' stand sunny's play...He doesn't bring anytime to the team. garth murray can do a similar job and he brings grit and toughness...two things we lack of

enforcers who can skate are rare nowadays. in almost every team, the tough guy play got his ice time reduced...it's seems that only toronto(who else) give quality ice time to Domi.
I'M one of the guys wh think aan enforcer would be welcomed..but who ?? please don't tell me Ivanans or vandermeer...they stink...
we're at least 2-3 years away from seeing bonneau...if he does make It.
for now, I think guys like rivet, souray, bouillon and komisarek should share the dirty job
