  1. He did screw Ryder. The only reason he had 12 minutes of ice time is because of the few shifts he had on the powerplay.

He played just as good as any other habs player last night, so why was he benched in the 3rd?? Because Julien doesn't have a clue.

Why did he seperate the 2nd line that played so well against the Sabres for two straight games (Hossa Ribs and Ryder)?? it didnt make sense at all. Ryder and Ribs had good chemistry together and were creating chances, sooner or or later they had to get some luck and the pucks would have started goin in and it started against the Jackets, fluke or not, it was a goal.

My point was not about Julien screwing Ryder, it was just about the Stupid things that he's doing lately. Why tamper with things when they go good.

And come on, why in the hell would an NHL coach put together a line so they could fail??? Do you actually think that Gainey would have a coach behind the bech who was putting together lines so they could look bad??

    not a chance.

The reason he put that line together is because he thinks for some reason that his stupid moves are going to work. They did score the only goal but they did nothing else after.

If he did put that line together to fail, I have a little hint for him. Try to put together lines that will work!!

  2. Julien is becoming exactly what Therrien was.

He must be hated by the a lot of the players.

He's benching a different guy every night, which is stupid.

    He's making stupid line combinations.

He's not rewarding anyone, you can have a good game and the next game be on a line with Bums or not even be in the damn lineup.

Some examples are: Ribeiro has played well almost every game!! Look who he played with last game, Two bums.

As bad as Audette has been, he doesn't deserve to be out of the lineup in favor of Dackell or Sundstrom.

Ryder has put in a good effort every game, he scored against the jackets and then gets demoted to the 4th line.( At the beginning of the game when i saw the lineup i thought that after a couple of shifts the 4th line would be getting a lot of ice time becasue they would outplay the other lines, but when they had a couple of good shifts theere minutes dropped)

Julien is just being stupid, the media in Montreal should be all over him. Larry Robinson should be the coach in Montreal ASAP.

Who's gonna be sitting the next game, my bet is Ryder.

Possible good lines if they could stay together

    Zednik-Koivu-Ryder

    Bulis-Ribeiro-Hossa

    Kilger-Juneau-Dackell

    Langdon-Begin-Audette

Put ward in Audette's place when he returns and send Audette on the next flight out of town.

    :ghg:

  3. i dont understand julien.

Why the hell is he constantly changing the lines.

The team played very well in two games against the Sabres last week, winning a game and losing a game that they should've won. What happens in the next game against the bluejackets??

    The lines are changed.

The game against the Jackets wasn't too bad, and finally Ryder breaks out of slump with some luck and gets a goal, what happens in the next game???

    The lines are changed.

Julien was giving Ryder the opportunity to score, and when he finally breaks out of his slump how was he rewarded??

He's put on the 4th line with hardly any ice time, and for no reason at all gets benched in the third period, and of all people Nik Sundstrom is then double Shifted. Confidence back for Ryder one game, and then Completely gone the next!! Great job Julien.

For god sakes Claude, go back to the Minors!

how do you expect players to play well together in instant? Pick four lines and keep em together IDIOT!

Oh and i guess he felt like a genius when Dackell scored a goal. Well guess what, the line sucked aftter that goal and made no sense at all to play em together, pick the teams three softest players and put them together against one of the hardest hitting teams in the league???

Well this goes out to Julien for his latest line juggling

    :-^:-^:-^:-^:-^:-^:-^:-^:-^:-^ F*CK You!

    :ghg:

  4. Yes Ryder will be back against the isles.

He only missed a couple shifts after Zhitnik kneed him.

And he played against the Blue Jackets (Scored the onlygoal)

As for Perreault, ch_nl talks about him like he's a superstar.

Lemieux can win you games, Forsberg can win you games, Roy won games himself almost all his career, and habs fans know that when Theo is on he can win you games.

i dont think poor yanic fits into that category.

He's a long way away from becoming one of the elite players in the NHL, and those are the only ones who can win games single handedly.

I dont hate the guy, he can score, and he is a reliable faceoff guy. But right now for a team thats rebuilding and looking for bigger players to help them get to the playoffs, he's not needed.

    :ghg:

  5. Hurry and get rid of him.

While he's still around all he's gonna do is cause line juggling.

The team was better off without him last nite and will be better off without him for the rest of the year.

i hope Julien finally sticks with some lines.

Koivu and Zed have good Chemistry, and once Zed breaks out it'll be a good line.

Same goes for the second line, Ryder and Ribs have good chemistry and when Ryder gets the monkey off his back (another post last nite) and starts scoring it will be a good line as well.

    KEEP HAINSEY IN!

    :ghg:

  6. Good to see Ryder on the top line, he needs to get going and when he does he should put up some good numbers.

I was talking to his father the other day and he said Michael has lost a lot of confidence over the past few games, since scoring his first goal he's had a ton of bad luck, hitting posts, being robbed, and not getting any bounces. This is also affecting the overall game, he hasnt been the same player that he was in his fisrt 4 or 5 games. Also gettin his vehicle ripped off last week must have some affect on him, hard luck for the kid.

Hopefully things can turn around for him and the rest of team.

    WHERE THE HECK IS ZEDNIK????

    :ghg:

  7. Why would they fire Julien?

Who in the hell do they think they can bring in to make this team play any better?

The habs are only 1 game below 500 and thats alot better then many expected, including myself.

Julien just does have the telent to work with, but he has still done a pretty good job.

Gainey needs to show his worth now and step in and make a big trade. If Gainey can brong in some top line players and the team still struggles, then consider a new coach!.

Theres only one thing i dont like that julien is doing, and thats changing the top lines. Pick two lines and keep em together so they can get use to eachother.

I hope to see Ryder Koivu and Zednik together when Koivu comes back, i think this would be our best chance at a real #1 line.

    :ghg:

  8. 6 and 5 to start the season is pretty good and is more then i expected as well.

But the way the team lost those three in a row against the sens, flyers and Bruins is what kills me.

It was like the team didn't even show up. When the team plays hard and has a chance to win almost every night is when i'll be happy.

    Next month I hope:

Hainsey is in the lineup full time

Koivu comes back and boosts the Offense

and Audette is dumped off somewhere

November would be very good if those things could happen!

    :ghg:

  9. Montreal had a great game tonight!.

They were all over the Bruins, and Theodore was great when the Bruins had any pressure.

One bad thing about the game was that the Habs only got the 1 goal, this game should have been put away long before OT. We need someone to start scoring (ZEDNIK).

hopefully Saku's return will spark the Offense.

The question now is who will be on his line?

    :ghg:

  10. What should the Canadiens do to improve after three very poor games.

Zednik isn't performing, the D is looking weak, Perreault has stopped scoring, and Audette is just playing like Audette.

Some big improvements need to be made to the team and very soon.

    But what can be done?

    I say:

    1.)Play Hainsey!!

2.)Get rid of Audette, Sundstrom, Perreault, and either rivet or Quintal. by getting rid of those guys gainey may be able to pick up a big top line player and Komisarek will be able to get in the lineup.

With a few adjustments, the playoffs are realistic.

But right now it looks damn near impossible.

    :ghg:

  11. The slump has begun!

Why do the habs always do this, follow up a good streak with a very bad streak. Something has to be done now.

Where has the team that played so well against the Leafs, Pens, Isles, Caps and Red Wings gone?

3 losses in a row just isn't good enough.

Garon had a good game in net and there seemed to be some jump out of the team in third but one period is not enough.

Gainey has to step in now and make some moves, show the fans and team that he wants to win.

    :ghg:

  12. Anyone know the lines??

Could be a major shakeup after some of the combinations we saw in the third period last nite.

    i'd go with:

    Ryder-Ribs-Zednik

    Hossa-Begin-Ward

    Bulis-Juneau-Dackell

and thats it....better to use only three if there gonna put out the disgrace line again.

    :ghg:

  13. Good move to get Ryder away from those bums.

Add another bum (Sundstrom) to the line and they were the worst line on the ice for the habs.

The line that started out as the fourth even got more ice time!

it's time to get rid of softies like Sundstrom Perreault and Audette, especially Audette. 3 million dollars a year for him has to be the biggest waste of Cash in the NHL, it could be used in a lot better places.

Perreault is not a bad player, but he lacks defensive skills and he's a soft player, two area where the habs desperately need improvement and once Koivu comes back Perreault would be an obvious choice to let go.

Julien needs to find a new second line and keep them together, even if they have a bad game once in awhile keep them playing together and let them get use to eachother.

    Hossa-Koivu-Zednik

    Ryder-Ribs-Ward

    Bulis-Juneau-Dackell

    Kilger-Begin-Audette

And for god sakes CJ play Hainsey!!! Neither of our top d-men for next year, Hainsey and Komi, are playing which is really stupid. How are they gonna develop and learn from there mistakes if there not out there playing.

Keep Bouillon in the prss box and scrap either rivet or Quintal and let the kids play.

    :ghg:

  14. Hopefully it works out and the habs do build a team as good as the Sens are today.

Right now the team is moving in a positive direction but are far from being anything like the sens.

With Hainsey, Komi, Markov and Souray Montreal has a good blue line for awhile.

    :ghg:

  15. if the defense and Jose can keep up their solid play the habs should come out with a win, or at least a tie.

We beat detroit, so theres no reason a win over the Sens cant be realistic.

    Prediction: 3-1 habs

Ryder is due for a goal, he must have hit the post about 8 times since getting his first against the leafs.

    :ghg:

  16. You enjoy wathcing Sami Kapanen, but you think Koivu is overrated???

I would like to see the day when Sami Kapanen comes back from missing almost a full year fighting cancer and notch 72 points.

last year shows how good Koivu really is, even though his body wasnt completely healthy he still had the skills to be one of the top centers in the league!

    :ghg:
